Had a great experience with Adam and Tanner of Steve Marshall Ford with the purchase of a 2022 Ford Maverick. They communicated honestly, made good on our agreements and even went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic hand-off on the final day of paperwork. I would recommend anyone looking for a Ford vehicle to check them out!
Was the best vehicle buying experience in my life. I got a good deal, no hassles. Friendly staff all around. Salesman Parker was fantastic. Manager Adam was fantastic.
We originally traveled down from Kamloops to purchase a vehicle from a neighboring dealership. Unfortunately the deal did not happen because it was falsely advertised on Autotrader. Plain and simple. advertised at 8.6% over 60 months and was actually 17% over 12 months You have to understand that we had a family member drive us to horseshoe bay and we walked on the boat and had no vehicle on the island. So me and my fiancé find ourselves test driving a completely different vehicle that we did not want nor did we travel down for. After aimlessly driving around town trying to figure out what we were going to do we drove past SMF and something told us to go see these guys. As a journeyman mechanic and being raised in a family of mechanics I have always carried this stigma with me that dealers are crooks and everything they sell, from services to product is a scam. Boy was I wrong! Parker Schwinghammer and David Brockie took that stereotype I had and put it in its grave where it belongs! These guys had virtually the exact same car we were looking for but 6 years newer and at a way better rate. These guys took customer service to the next level. They stayed late after close to finalize the deal, took the car that we did not want back to the "unsaid dealer" and Parker even met up with us afterwards for a quick celebration of our newest acquisition. I will most defiantly be coming back for our next purchase and will be referring my own customers as well as friends and family to make the extra trip, because it is worth it. Don't believe these other blokes with their sh*tty reviews, what they say are lies and they are obviously unhappy people that can't get their ducks in a row and have to take it out on the good hardworking people of SMF! Thanks again for everything guys! You literally saved us from being stranded on an island with no car. Starbucks and Tim Hortons gift cards were a nice cherry on top too
Here’s a real life story with a positive ending: This week, we were given the unfortunate news that our Jeep Patriot needed the engine replaced. Rather than sinking $20,000 into this used vehicle, we decided to look for another solution. We have been dealing with the guys at Steve Marshall Ford for many years now and have really experienced how well they take care of their customers. We have bought many cars/trucks from them and always feel that they take the time to explain everything and make sure we are totally happy before proceeding with a purchase. You definitely receive genuine customer service and they take pride in getting you into the right car. They look at customer satisfaction as the main end goal, not just another sale. Our son also just bought his first car from them and again the service was top notch. When he encountered an issue just 4/5 months into his ownership they really bent over backwards to help him, and put themselves in his position rather than just making money off the repair. They went totally above and beyond what we already expected of them, and demonstrated once again how customer satisfaction is key to the success of their business. We will always highly recommend this dealership to everyone and will continue to be loyal customers of theirs. You just don't get better service anywhere else!
Myself and my common law partners experience at Steve Marshall was beyond expectations. We were in the market to purchase two vehicles, and Unlike other dealerships we have visited in the past where we have done a credit app and they mention vehicles that we are allowed to purchase in their eyes. Steve Marshall Ford took the time to make sure that we were getting into the vehicles that we wanted and also for the payments that we could afford. It seems like no expense was spared to make us comfortable. Their staff was beyond knowledgable even on vehicle brands that weren’t Their own. I would highly recommend anybody to go to Steve Marshall Ford for the car buying experience. We didn’t feel pressured, and we didn’t feel like we were having something we didn’t want forced down our throats. It is by far the best car buying experience I have been through, And will definitely be going back for my next vehicle purchase.
Arrived at Steve Marshall one day to look at trucks and left the next day with the truck to call our own. The purchase was an amazing experience and hassle free! The team there all work so well together and I never once felt out of place. Andres was our dealer and he was so kind and helped every step of the way to make the truck work for our family. Had an extremely positive experience after months of looking for a new car and disappointments in poor negotiations in other dealerships. Happened to deal with Andres during the purchase process and he really went above and beyond expectations. Also the entire staff including Liz, Craig and the insurance agents were very kind and easy going and the entire process felt exciting instead of daunting. As a woman it is such a stressful thought to be treated poorly at a dealership and I have had terrible experiences before but the entire staff and salesman Andres made this experience very positive. I am extremely grateful for the efforts of the team here to go above and beyond to exceed my expectations of what purchasing a vehicle would entail. Nick was my sales associate and he did a fantastic job of listening to what my needs were for the purchasing of my businesses first company vehicle. He was very invested in making sure my needs were met and that I would be happy in a new 2022 Bronco. He even made arrangements for my company logo to be thrown on. So if you see the Horne Lake Caves Bronco riding around town, that’s thanks to Nick and the awesome team here. I am very impressed by their high standard of professionalism and definitely recommend them.
Update: 01/31/23. WOW !!! Did I get taken. Spent all my money on a new Ford Maverick. Waited 7 months for it. What I got instead of a sweet new truck.....problem after problem and not one thing fixed in a year. More excuses than I can list. I'm past frustrated and close to going to the dark side.
