Very much a traditional hometown diner. Nice decor and many tables. Very good WiFi. Coffee $1.99. Staff cordial. Bathrooms small but seem to be kept up. New menus and prices.
Cute little restaurant with good options! Everyone was very nice, place was clean and the prices were good. I would come back again!
Stopped here for breakfast on a weekday in October. Felt a little out of place, since the place wasn't overly busy and those who were there were locals, but the servers were friendly enough. The good: Prices were reasonable. I got ham with my breakfast and it was seriously the biggest piece of ham that I've ever gotten for breakfast. It was great. The disappointing: The pancakes. They were flat, hard and pretty much tasteless. I don't eat pancakes very often, and I was really sad that they weren't better. We would definitely stop here again if we were in the area, for any meal. While not our favorite diner in the Finger Lakes, it would be worth the return trip. Parking: Parking is street parking.
Atmosphere was our own fault...we chose seats too close to the door, so every time someone went in or out we got hit by a cold blast of air. The place was pretty busy, so there weren't really any other good places to sit. Food was good, plenty of it, and even though our waitress was fairly busy, she didn't ignore us once we had our food. Prices were good - not expensive. Down-home feel, not pretentious. No room for dessert. Even hubby couldn't finish his meal.
Get the Roast Beef Sandwich with Mashed Potatoes. It was INCREDIBLE. We were passing through town to use the chargers near by and I will dream of that sandwich for years to come. They’re Mac n cheese home made! was also absolutely delicious. We are thinking of adjusting our route home just to stop by and eat here one more time!
We were passing through on the way south and we're delighted to find this place. Good food, the staff was friendly and engaging and the place has a nice clean atmosphere. The silverware was a little dirty but we got new ones. I would definitely eat here again.
While the staff were all very friendly and welcoming, both my spouse and I felt mislead by the previously posted reviews and photos, indicating excellent food and atmosphere. Both my husband and I ordered our fried eggs "over medium" both arrived with with runny, undercooked egg whites. The photos we had seen looked like a bright, quaint place. We entered a dark place with a smoky or diesel oil scent.
So I called & asked if their chicken & Biscuits has a nice amount of chicken in it. She said she thought so. I picked up an order & was rather disappointed. It tasted very good, but no real chicken bites it looked like gravy & biscuits?? Oh well........
Small, comfy, friendly, hometown-style restaurant. Many patrons were greeted b by name. We had the best pot roast dinner ever! So tender, perfectly seasoned, generous portions, tasty au jus. Ate there with friends, 2 other couples, and everyone was pleased with their meal. We will be back.Food: 5/5
Good food, fair prices. Swiss mushroom burger and Italian sausage.
