This is a hidden gem. This diner serves all types of comfort food along with fresh baked pies. I always have breakfasts, which is all day by the way, is great. My friend has been there many times and always enjoyed the food. Great service as well and extremely cheap!
I'm sure it was just very busy.. but when we went in, many tables were not cleaned off. Waiting for our order was pretty long, forgot couple things on our order... trying to get the waitresses attention was next to impossible. My meal made me sick while there, not sure if the eggs were bad/old but couldn't even finish my plate before running to the bathroom. I've had decent experiences there before and it's a cozy little place, but unfortunately this visit was just disappointing to say the least.
We heard such nice things about this little diner . We were very disappointed. Had to wash my own table and seats to sit down. Milk shake was not bad , but very small . Ordered soup of the day " beef barley " mh favorite!! , it had been burnt to the pan and was not edible. We ordered dinner , spaghetti and meatsauce , our plates were full of water from the noodles , very little sauce , barley covered the noodles , was dry and tasteless. not enough actual red sauce The elderly couple beside me asked me why i didn't eat my food , so i showed them , they completely agreed , then informed me they had hair in their food. Also informed us we would not be given a bill , they expect you to go to cash and pay blindly as they punch in your order without you seeing a total before hand . My husband was not pleased , they also do not offer an itemized reciept . NEVER AGAIN The atmosphere is dingy and dirty looking . I was to nervous to attemp using the bathroom . We paid our 42.00 bill , and got out if there. Won't be back , and we do not recommend.
This is a well hidden gem in Renfrew that am thinking only the local townsfolk know about. Lol friendly server and the food is delicious just maybe add an extra egg to the pancake batter keep them from falling apart the coffee's hot the breakfast hot. Cozy and friendly mom and pop diner oops maybe husband and wife diner?? The prices are extremely good and the servings are great too. The breakfast fills the whole plate no empty spaces here. so will definitely be coming back here

Everything I expected and wanted. Honest and delicious food made with some heart. Diner style eatery with 70's inspired decor. Staff were very pleasant and the food came out quickly. The atmosphere was warm and quaint. And all the other patrons seem to be very friendly.
Amazing breakfast with my wife today. Everything was great, this is a very busy popular spot so expect a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. Pancakes blew me away. Great small town service.
This place was so quaint and omg the prices are so cheap for amazing food and good portion size. Definitely a hangout for regulars everyone seems to know each other . Staff was amazing and as busy as they were they kept things moving. Parking might be a little awkward it gets pretty tight in there and some people will block you in but definitely worth the trip very old school diner feel and I enjoyed every minute of it .
I guess they're busy because renfrew is lacking in restaurants but the service is slow. Breakfast was overly greasy bacon, and raw potatoes with strange seasoning on it? Also feels dirty inside
