Very classy atmosphere and decor for a nice night out. The food and drinks are on the pricier side but very high quality and tasty. Service was good, our waiter was very knowledgeable. The tiramisu is one of the best I have had. Portions were quite small so I would recommend getting an appetizer if you are quite hungry. Will definitely be going back to this beautiful restaurant.
An excellent albeit extremely expensive Italian restaurant. The service was top notch and the restaurant space itself was very nice. Also, while we didn’t sit at the bar, it is a beautiful structure. The food was simply amazing with very strong flavors. It is obviously made with so much care and it shines through with each dish. Be prepared to spend a lot but it’s for an amazing meal and experience.
The best of the best. Hands down , most authentic hand made pasta from chef Jonathan Agnello and the staff great service great vibe. If you’re looking to taste the flavours of Italy this is the place to be. Great date night , family , friends night you won’t be disappointed located in the heart of old Montreal. 5 out of 5 my personal favourite. Cheers boys great job.
Overall great food, we were seated at the counter in front of the kitchen where we could see all the action. We tried a few appetizers and 2 pasta dishes that we really enjoyed and 2 deserts the lemon tart was amazing. Some people may find the pasta dishes a bit too salty but we enjoyed our food, top ingredients were used everywhere. Depending on where you're seated, you may find the restaurant a bit too noisy we actually asked to change table because of that. I'm removing one star because of one particular thing I did not like at all, the changing of the wine list mid-dinner. The first wine list was the regular one, the second was the F1 weekend one and was significantly more expensive this was on Wednesday evening, so a few days before the Grand Prix weekend. While I understand why a restaurant would bump it's prices for that event, I find the idea of doing that during a meal ridiculous, I paid my first glass $15 and the second for the same wine $18.
Overall great ambiance and service and food is good. Produce were all very fresh. I especially liked the lemon ravioli and salad. The dressing on the salad was divine. Beef tartare and florentine steak lack a bit of flavor, I wouldn’t recommend them. Prepare your wallet, menu is a bit on the pricey side and portions are rather small.
Came here based on a few articles noting that Stellina had some of Montreal’s best pasta and great ambiance. Upon a glance at the menu, at around ~35 dollars a plate, hoped that price would’ve reflected quality. Sadly not so - most of the pastas we ordered were either too salty or unsalted at all. Rigatoni had great presentation but when it came time to dig in, lacked substance in flavour and depth. Portion to price ratio was completely off - highlight of this was the Tagliolini at 39 dollars and we received about 10 pieces of pasta. The Agnolitti was equally as egregious - for one of the most expensive mains, portions were sample sized. I get restaurants are in a bit of a pinch with rising food and labour costs but for this reason we extremely disappointing for the prices we paid for. Service started great - a smiling server with an in-depth understanding of the menu. However as the night went on, our server vanished and was inattentive. No asks on whether we wanted more drinks and no checking in on how the meal tasted. Again, for the price point, really unacceptable. Highlights were the appetizers, burrata and polpo both great in flavour but lacking in portions. The decor and the drinks were great, the ambiance was lacking compared to what you normally get in a buzzing Vieux Port scene.
Such a cute place with a great ambiance. We went during the opening week so the service was a little slow, but I’m sure it’s gotten better since. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The portions were a little small but quite tasty. Happy to have this restaurant in my neighbourhood!
Went there tonight for the second time with my bestfriends. The first we went there the food was amazing but the service was ok. Tonight though, Camille was serving us at the bar counter and we had the most amazing time! Everything was delicious, but the service made our night incredible! Camille was super sweet and attentive, and helped us through the whole menu. She clearly knows her menu really well and it is obvious that she has fun working there! Also she made me the most delicious espresso martini I’ve had in Montreal so far! Honestly without her our night would’ve been bland! Although we got there with a specific menu item in mind that wasn’t available anymore, nothing disappointed us. We will be back for sure :-
Loved the ambience and the service was great! Highly recommend the Affumicato cocktail; very smooth and fruity. The appetizer Canederli was delicious! We ordered the Bottoni some bites were slightly too sour and slightly undercooked and the Rigatoni Alla Gricia with added on truffle some bites were slightly too salty. The tiramisu was very different but very tasty!
It’s been a while that I wanted to reserve this place for dinner. Finally, I was invited to a birthday party last Saturday. I have to say that the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Service was great and the food was delicious. Some people took tasting menu where I had to chance to taste most dishes on the menu. The two dishes I ordered for myself were beef tartare and tortellini as you see in the picture. These are probably two OK best dishes on the menu. The owner of the restaurant made our night even better. He kept asking us if everything was great and offered us few times shots. Thank you Massimo on the team.
