Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Steeles Park Memorial... From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was very kind & helpful... Aaron was very special & went above & beyond the call of duty... We don't belong to a shul & without hesitation, Aaron arranged for Cantor Stein to officiate my mother's farewell tribute, & I am so grateful he did because Cantor Stein made it very special. Aaron made sure that all our needs were fulfilled in a very respectful manner & because of his diligence, everything ran smoothly. Thank you again for all your support & kindness!! We will be forever grateful to the wonderful staff of Steeles Park Memorial Chapel...
At one of our most vulnerable times, Aaron, Mordechai and their team were nothing but compassionate and understanding. We will forever be grateful for making one of the worst days of our lives a little more manageable. Thank you very much.
Steeles Memorial is a business with poor customer service, who can’t acknowledge and apologize for wrongdoing, and who places blame on the customer instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. When an organization deals with the most sensitive of human emotions, you hope that the business tries their best. Unfortunately this is not the case.
Live stream was offered during this time because of the pandemic. It is one thing to note be present at a loved ones funeral, but it's an entire different story when the technical issue of bandwidth was not checked prior to the service to ensure we can support and mourn our loved ones live. This issue was avoidable and at the very least, the families and could have been notified that it could be an issue. This is unacceptable. This has cause an entire other level or headache.
This place is the worst, we lay my Mother to rest there and literally the day of me putting her in the ground, one of the two owners ask me loudly in front of guest “did you bring the cheque”, like no cass and tact at all. I was told prior that I could bring a cheque that week, not that I had to the day of! Even when selecting a coffin, they were about as casual as a used car salesman ...”Mothers dead, no biggie, just pick a coffin n get out”...Low class, low respect, not sure who from there staff did these other fake ones...What treatment for the deceased and their family's, a truly disturbing experience...Stay away from these people, they make a bad situation much worse, and care only about the cheque they will collect in the end!
Of course any memorial chapel is a place to visit only under the most painful circumstances. But the team here treats you as their family, and extremely supportive and caring. Their help was highly appreciated during such difficult times...
Just want to let you know how great this place is ,they treated my mom and me with the utmost respect and dignity, they were amazing through out the process ..thank you guys..my dad was a blessed man through his life and you guys gave this great man dignity at the end..will be forever greatful to you and steeles memorial Wilma and Anthony taylor & family
Steeles is the most religiously observant chapel in Toronto and serves every person with kindness and care.
