I was a bit concerned before check-in from the number of 1 star reviews, but I can now say this was one of the top budget conscious hotel stays I've ever had. Reasonable pet fee, comfortable rooms, free underground parking, great location, and the free breakfast was one of the largest spreads I've ever seen with good quality foods.nnTo be fair to some of the reviewers who did give this place a low rating, the rooms could benefit from a deep clean, but they were clean in all the ways you want them to be when you stay at a hotel. This will be my go-to hotel for future trips to visit family in the area.
Room have plenty of space and are very clean. We enjoy the common areas such as the pool and hot tub. The breakfast selection has a variety of things that are delicious. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.
Typical IHG stuff - that is, definitely a step down from Marriott and Hilton, but not terrible. The hotel is decent for the price. Rooms are a bit dated, and relatively clean but far from spotless.nnThere was obnoxious elevator style music playing on speakers outside my window all night long, which seemed completely unnecessary and drove me nuts. All the lighting in the room was a harsh fluorescent white, but that’s just a personal pet peeve of mine.
Rooms and amenities are maintained very well, clean. Age and wear shows but value remains - heated underground parking, clean pool and whirlpool and area, social space in evenings and simple/standard breakfast buffet. Clean. Some road noise on street sides but if you’re footing it then location is very enjoyable. Room met expectations, could be updated, but understand - where do you start? If value is important…
Had a great stay here. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The rooms could use a little work, our stove burners had some issues with plugging into the little plugs. I had to reach my hand into the other burner and hold the plug in place to plug it in as it wasn't plugged in by housekeeper. The location is very convenient, but it is right up against the beltline so there's a little noise. Overall, a good option if you're traveling and want to make your own meals
