What an absolute gem! Deep in the country, beautiful setting - right out of a movie! The entire venue is wood, with an entire second floor that overlooks the stage and dance floor. Very clean, high ceiling and owned by a wonderful family. I would recommend corporate functions, graduations, wedding, and group function would be lucky to experience the ambience. Please note, this is a reception hall, and all food is catered in. Local and home cooked. Live music is great, as there are wonderful acoustics with the high ceiling! There are theme nights, music nights, and much more. Note - washrooms are located down a set of stairs...but are immaculately clean. #localguide
Excellent food and welcoming service! The staff really know how to make you feel at home. They are extremely friendly and kind. The location depicted a traditional sugar shack. The dinning room was of such beauty. Golden wood finishes with a bright red tin roof. Everything is homemade, including the all you can eat dessert bar. The price of your ticket gives you an all you can eat meal, taffy on the snow and a horse and buggy ride. During your meal, you also have a live performer who signs authentic Sugar Shack songs. This place is truly a hidden gem. A must for everyone in the family and of all ages!!!
Had my wedding here few years ago, the staff and owners were outstanding! They made our day even more special. Couldn't have asked for a better venue. The food was amazing, we still talk about the ribs to this day!
Visited this venue as a potential wedding venue and it was cabin like and rustic and the owner is very nice, this just wasn't our venue! Bonus: They brew their own beer!
