Story

Christopher Starr started his career specializing in Home Birthday Parties more than 25 years ago. He now performs more than 200 shows a year across the GTA. Starr provides one of the largest Home Birthday Shows available, with over 200 pounds of equipment, tailored to fit right into your living room! The Birthday Show requires a floor space of about 7 by 7 feet, with the children sitting cross legged in front of this space. He uses the widest variety of live and puppet animals of any show in the Toronto marketplace.

Christopher Starr's Gold Birthday Show features:

-High energy comedy magic, in a zany style.
- Items appear, vanish, and change colour all performed in a comedic way and with incredible audience interaction.
- Lots of Audience Participation.
- Everyone calls out the Magic Words at each effect, and participates throughout each routine. We generally use "Happy Birthday, your child's name" as the Magic Words.
- Many opportunities for the children to participate as a group, and more than a half a dozen volunteers are invited to help up close.
- Extra Special Attention is shown to the Birthday Child.
- Special Dress-up Routine for the Birthday Child - While trying to make a magic birthday cake, a chef's hat magically appears out of the bag of flour. Then the whole bag turns into a chef's apron for them to wear. Instead of a cake appearing, another one of the magical birds is made to appear by the birthday child. This is an excellent chance for photos and a brief video segment, if you wish.
- Proud to feature Live and Puppet Animals in the show!
- Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Prince Charming the live Doves magically appear. Take special note of the bird's techno-coloured feathers: hot pink, deep yellow, and dark purple.
- Stinky the Skunk, and Rocky the Raccoon, the Spring Animals, have fun with the children.
- The finale of the show, features the transformation of all of the doves into a Big White Rabbit named Blizzard!.
- At the end of the 40 minute show, all of the children are then invited to come up and pet Blizzard the Magic Rabbit. A great photo-op!
- After the show and rabbit petting, the children are taught a simple magic trick they can all perform. This is a 5 - 10 minute mini-magic-workshop.
