Super Friendly just lack a bit of attentiveness to drinks and service. I had to ask for refills, sitting on the bar where they crossed my empty cup multiple times. Had to ask for my check after sitting and waiting to see when ‍ Food was not bad, I had the Philly Steak sandwich with fries and a salad Never got my Salad. From the flavor to the quantity everything was so so! I’ve had better Don’t forget to leave room for Pie cause they do have quite the selection. Can’t say I wasn’t wanting one of each But the Marion berry cheese cake I did have was okay maybe it’s a good thing I didn’t ask for one of each. All in all I’d stop here again, IF Nothing Else is Open and Starving ‍
Great in a little town of Valle Oregon. We shared our meal cause the portions were large. Best onion rings I've ever had. Very cool little bar stool in center of the restaurant. The beef is farm fresh and you can taste the difference.Food: 5/5

Amazing home cooked food! Service was good and the staff are very friendly. I wanted peach pie because so many other reviews raved over it. This was sad for me and why I don't give 5 stars...lol
Great food… must say the best we have had in Vale, OR. Would definitely be worth your while to take a drive and check out their great menu! I had the Rueben it was absolutely amazing!
Third time wasn't a charm. Only a dinner menu was offered but the signs all say breakfast all day. Hmm? Steaks under cooked and the soup would have made better pasta sauce. Service wasn't the best this trip and I guess I was hopefull that the Starlight would return to the good ol days of great food, and great service.Food: 1/5
Still needs ironed out after new owner. My omelette was 14 dollars and not worth it with the ham that you use for a sandwich in it. The cheese seemed like processed cheese. Not what yours expect in a $14 meal. Waitress had to check the menu to see if my omelette came with eggs.... I'll give them a bit, and go back to see if things improve. Otherwise food isn't worth the trip, or the price. I expected more since the owner is the same person who owns Mal's, which has pretty good food.
My husband and I went Friday night for dinner. We each ordered something different and was going to share it. I ordered a Ruben Sandwich with fries and he ordered a Starlite Burger with tots. When the waitress brought out our food, my husband ended up with a Sirloin Sandwich. The waitress was going to make it right and we said it will be fine. Both sandwiches were cold, cheese not melted, meat was cold. Total bill was $32.88 for 2 Pepsi's, fries, and tots. Very disappointed.
This is a nice little country cafe. Newly renovated. I didn't see a bacon cheeseburger on the menu. So I asked the waitress if they made those. She said that they could make me one! It was really good too!
Great diner! Very homey atmosphere. Our server Casie was very sweet and attentive, and my coffee was never empty! Huge portions for a decent price. The homemade pies looked delicious, but I was so full from my meal I didn't have room for dessert.
