Unsure about why the reviews were so negative but this was my first time at this Starbucks and wow. The SWEETEST staff, kind and welcoming. Acknowledge as soon as I walked in and when I was leaving, drink was made to perfecting and they even made small conversation which was very personable and nice. I especially loved the time they took to make my cup look so cute, although it was slightly busy for a place to sit on my computer, it was an enjoyable outing!
everything about this starbucks was great except for one worker. this worker has mistreated me and my friends on numerous occasions. we are a very culturally diverse friend group and we feel that she treats us improperly based on this. we are younger in age and we have seen her kindness to older different looking customers. her name is millicent and from the first time we had the displeasure of seeing this older woman we have left starbucks feeling upset and frustrated.na few examples of her rudeness are the dirty looks we’ve received, the rude tone of voice she saves just for us and probably people like us and the way she takes our orders like she’d rather do anything else. the numerous of comments she’s made directly to us about how we sit, how loud we are for context we are teenagers but we are also well behaved, we know how to act in public and do not speak loudly or curse loudly. mainly dirty looks when we laugh. think about this, you are young and enjoying starbucks drinks in a place you come to often and giving business to, and when you sit down and laugh, you get dirty looks from a worker. it honestly just sucks because we don’t spend money in a place just to be mistreated. we all know how expensive starbucks is and no one wants this after giving away your money for a few overpriced drinks and snacks.nwe’ve always found that starbucks is a welcoming and safe space with workers who are kind and go above and beyond for their customers and not including this one worker, we really have experienced this environment. i’m leaving this review on behalf of all of my friends and me and not to be petty, but to genuinely ask this woman to consider the way she treats those younger and different customers who are coming to starbucks. thank you for reading this, we truly hope to see improvement here.
My experience at this starbucks location wasn’t great my drink was completely filled with foam and the girl at the counter explained to me that when you don’t want ice in your drink it will be filled with foam, i don’t agree with this because i am still paying full price and i don’t order ice in my drink from this location anymore because every time i’ve said light ice it is full of ice. These drinks are expensive as it is i like to get what i pay for. Here’s a photo from the last time i ordered here and said light ice. unacceptable!
Staff was friendly and drinks were accurate. However the washrooms were absolutely disgusting and dirty to the point that I chose to not use it as a woman I would have to sit down. They looked as though they hadn't been cleaned in a few days. There were probably 7 staff members behind the counter however the cleanliness of the store was disappointing.
I don’t usually write negative reviews, but my experiences at the Alliston Starbucks have been consistently disappointing. This is the only Starbucks in the area, so I have to go here when visiting my grandparents. Compared to locations in Toronto, Vaughan, or Waterloo, this store has the worst service I’ve encountered.nnAlmost every employee I’ve interacted with seems to have an attitude, and I’m not sure how this is being managed. Every drink I’ve received has had something wrong, either it’s not filled to the top, it’s too sweet, or it’s missing the correct sweetener.nnOne experience in particular highlights the issue. I placed an order via the mobile app, which said my drive-thru pick-up time was 8:36 AM. I arrived exactly at 8:36 AM, and the barista over the speaker told me I had just placed the order. When I explained that the app had given me that pick-up time, she said the app isn’t always accurate and I should add 2–3 minutes. I tried to tell her this is feedback she should provide to her management, but instead there was back and forth with attitude, no greeting, and she left me hanging at the speaker. I had to drive up to the window to get my drink, which was handed to me without a “hello” or “have a good day.” It was, without exaggeration, the worst drive thru experience I’ve ever had.nnI truly hope the staff here receive proper customer service training. Both my mom and grandma have shared similar experiences. This location has potential, but the consistently poor service makes it frustrating. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and addresses these issues.
