They’re nice here mostly but they’re incredibly slow. Today I ordered a coffee traveller at 1:38 online, and it said it would be ready in 14 minutes. I showed up at 2:00 and it wasn’t even started. I was told blithely that it was a ‘technical problem’ and I watched the world’s slowest man put together the traveller. This took 18 minutes. He handed it to me and seemed confused when I asked for cream. We were not given cups or anything.nnAll in all, I needed this for 2pm. The delay means I got it at about 2:20. It took nearly one hour to fulfil a very simple order. I’m still baffled by this. I was late because of this and it wasn’t worth the purchase. I’ll go to Tim’s for this kinda thing next time.nnThat said, drive thru is kinda slow as well but always polite and never this bad.
This Starbucks is situated at the corner of a mall. It has external access. When I entered I was quickly greeted by a barista. The place looked clean and well maintained. The condiment bar was clean and the garbage was tidy.nMy order was taken quickly and my drinks prepared promptly.nI ordered a Grande Machiatto and a cold drink for my partner. Both drinks were delicious.nnThe atmosphere was a little lacking. There were 2 other customers in the cafe' which was very quiet.
We ordered from this location and it was a 30 minute wait. I understand that this is a busy location. After waiting over 30 minutes, my latte wasn’t a full cup and it was made wrong. I did go back in but for them to redo my drink I would have had to wait another 30 minutes?? I will not be returning to this location. For almost a 7$ drink, I expect it to be a full cup not just over a 1/2 cup. So disappointing!!
Hands down the absolute worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Wait times in the drive through are consistently 30 minutes or more. I actually came with a few people from out of town only for them to agree it’s the slowest drive through they’ve ever been to. The staff have no quality control or consistency with food, sometimes it’s alright, sometimes absolutely terrible. I literally got handed a pink drink today with curdled milk - firstly, I didn’t even order a pink drink, second, CURDLED MILK?! How can the barista who is passing that to the customer not see that? At this point I believe this location is experiencing a management issue. Whoever manages this location needs to be trained better or replaced.
I love coming here, either drive-thru or dine-in. Even though it can get busy, I always get my seat. Some staff are friendly, while others could improve when it comes to customer service. A smile will go a long way as it's the first door/first impression for the store.
