I always go to this location since it’s closest to home, however, I feel there’s some lack of training. I usually order a dragon drink or pink drink which both include coconut milk. Yesterday I went to pick up my order and the coconut milk was separated on the top just floating like a cloud. This happens most of the time where it separates. I have to keep asking for them to add a little more coconut milk. Today, I asked for light ice. Picture included is of the “light ice”. I paid for a Venti and got a Tall. Edit to add: Second picture is today, a month or so later. Decided to order a Dragon drink which should have coconut milk and that’s what I got.. you can see the “white” on the top and half of that was just foam from the mixing so there was very little coconut milk, therefore it separates!
I've had many issues with this location so I'll go out of the way and go the one down the street. I do try this location sporadically. My last drink was made incorrectly but the flavor was spot on, i didnt say anything because it was a points drink not going to complain about a free drink. The server was fairly nice. Its getting better I'll keep trying here.
Poor customer service received today! I preordered my drink and when I arrived to pick my drink up I noticed that the venti cup $6.10 is filled with FOAM. I don't pay $6.01 for FOAM. I walked over to the cashier station and explain and the person standing at the cash station my complaint/request and the person does not even look me in the eye. Does not apologize for the error. They instead type into the computer at the cash station and then says nothing. I walked away in disgust and presumed that my drink was going to be remade right away since I preordered and it was a mistake on Starbucks. Nope, I watched the barista make 3 drinks all of them obviously not mine and walked back to the register and inquired is my drink is being remade and the replied was "you'll have to wait, there's a wait". Sorry this is 100% unacceptable, I should not have to wait. My drink should have been remade immediately. I believe a manager overhead the conversation and stepped in and said I'll take over. The manager personally remade my drink with NO FOAM. Wow, not the best customer service received! Train the people behind the counter to be respectful otherwise they should not be behind the counter in front of your customers! Look people in the eye and smile :

Usually the service is good here. But I feel like there is a barista who doesn’t like me whenever I go to the drive thru. I am nice. I did ask how are you and she didn’t respond. She looks at me for a while and doesn’t seem like she likes me. Not sure what I did. It makes me feel sad.
Intercom individual was rude and didn’t listen to me when I asked for potential substitutes for an unavailable item, another man stepped in and didn’t answer my questions, repeating himself multiple times. Rude. Long lines at this location, often missing common items, lemonade, milk options, fruit for their refreshers. Been to this same one for years working in the area. It is okay like 2/5 times you’ll go
I love Starbucks but this specific location in Carol stream I believe they lack training. Every time I go and get my drink is never done right. If I order a white chocolate mocha you taste the milk but no mocha. The pumpkin brew is the same but can’t taste the pumpkin. I feel so disappointed. I’m always hoping that they will get better but I guess not.
For what it is it’s okay. Starbucks is overpriced etc etc etc… This store is usually pretty congested, but they get through orders quick so I’m happy enough with them.
I am frequently disappointed that this location runs out of supplies. I wanted a drink made with coconut milk and they were out.... This happens too oftenFood: 4/5
The stuff are rude !!! I ordered late , they give me with halo cup of foam , almost empty , no sorry at all , just “this is latte my dear” , wow! When I ordered Ice late with pumpkin spice and they give me with whipped cream latte and tell me like that what I ordered, and was so rude , show me the attitude , why? Just make the correct one and tell sorry don’t need to be yell at customer , the management need to see how the their personal are talking to customers and do something !
