Everyone is always friendly, a welcoming hello. Happy to help. Food can be a little pricey but the cakes are lovely. Can be a little echoey & loud, though that's due to the building being old with high ceilings.Food: 4/5
I was initially pleased to find that this new Starbucks location actually served filter coffee, but within a matter of months they have quickly evolved into the UK standard of claiming the machine is broken. An Americano is not the same thing as filter coffee and any barista that makes the claim is untrained. If I wanted espresso, I’ve got plenty of other options in Stamford. This black filter coffee drinker is better off staying home.
Today was my second visit to Starbucks, Stamford in Lincolnshire and it will be my last. My first visit was met by rude, inexperienced teenagers who could not get my coffee order correct and when I used the toilet; the seat was broken and the bathroom was filthy. It only opened that weekend! Today I met a friend there and when I went to use the toilet, they were closed. Both of them. I asked the manager what had happened and she explained that they were closed and that I had to go to the public toilets down the road in Stamford. I then told her that I wanted to use the staff toilet instead. She explained that they do not have staff toilets, they too have to use the Starbucks toilet. When I asked her what she does as I did not believe she shut up shop every time she needed to go, she explained that they are shut because they have no loo roll. Unbelievable. As the manager, I challenged her initiative and suggested that maybe she buys some loo roll until the delivery comes this week. She explained that she cannot do that as Starbucks will not reimburse her; she will not use her own money. So, Starbucks toilets will remain closed until the delivery of loo roll comes or the manager uses her initiative to buy some; which I very much doubt.
Super fast wifi and plenty of plugs for laptops - perfect for remote working in Stamford Vegetarian options: They have a few options available Wheelchair accessibility: Easy no step access and accessible toilets. Plenty of space around tables and chairs
Really nice decor however spoilt by dirty tables not cleaned between people leaving/ arriving & run by teenagers. Toilets were filthy will not be visiting this Starbucks again ! More attention given to dogs getting paper cups of cream then licking the floor! Hygiene not a priority after just coming out of a pandemic !
Lovely staff..nice and clean ..coffee and snacks are yummy too!!! Let dogs in too so don't forget to ask for a "puppacino"! Wheelchair accessibility: Wide door.. lots of room to wheel a wheelchair.
Great place for a coffee and a chat . Didn't eat but will next time I go as food looked lovely. Staff are helpful and friendly and very efficient.Service: 5/5
Tastefully decorated Starbucks with character. Spacious seating with plenty of power outlets and friendly baristas.
I’m pleased to see that Starbucks have finally come to Stamford. This quaint market town in the south of Lincolnshire is full of small independent coffee shops, which is nice and all, but when you’re looking for consistency of both consumables and venue, you need a familiar face. This new store situated in the heart of Stamford brings a large, open plan, bright and fresh feeling seating area, with a large 8-seater table, relaxed seating at the back and 5 4 seater tables for the productive ones to sit and work. Its clean, fresh feeling makes it a delight to while away a morning of emails and other boring business stuff, studying and education or reading. There are more power sockets than you can wave a stick at and the WIFI in the area has recently been upgraded, which is reflected in Starbucks WIFI infrastructure. My Productivity in this store is higher than in the dark, somewhat outdated costa coffee adjacent to the premises. The staff are clearly trying their best at what they do. It's a new store, and some teething issues can be apparent, but staffing has seemed to be at a steady level to cope with the morning, lunch and afternoon rush. The ladies behind the counter already display a good knowledge of the menu and provide a fast and efficient service. Over my three visits since opening, the store has proved popular, but the staff have handled it with ease. My normal choice of a basic blonde roast caramel latte doesn't channel the baristas in any way, shape or form. Unlike the costa coffee across the road, a Starbucks latte always provides a rich, creamy texture and taste with its small layer of foamed milk, and its larger layer of steamed milk. The Starbucks way of crafting fine coffee has been taught to these baristas and they execute it perfectly. No complaints in the coffee department. The standard offering of food is on display as soon as you walk in, and the well-presented glass cabinet of sweet treats has made a comeback, albeit a little smaller and out of proportion for the size of the large, white sweeping counter which dominates the store. The only things to work on are little teething issues which are apparent in any new store, Starbucks or not. I have no doubt in my mind that these very minor, so-called issues will be fixed within no time at all. My three visits, now turning into many more, have shown that the staff are passionate about their jobs. When looking up from my MacBook, I am presented with a clean, fresh, modern store, with smiling, friendly faces warmly greeting those coming through the door. A particularly shoutout to Cortney - who always appears to be mid flow in a well-choreographed dance of beverage making mixed in with a poetically flowing charm on the till. All the staff work hard at this store, and it shows. It’s always spotless, provides great services and coffee, and is a welcome site on a Monday morning. This will be my new go to office for my Stamford based adventures.
Lacked atmosphere. Felt a bit like a waiting room as tables along one wall. Can remember this as NatWest Bank
