Starbucks Canada is like Starbucks everywhere. The location in Whitehorse was BUSY, but the staff was nice and the coffee is what you’d expect. Highly recommend, especially because they’re open until 3am!Recommended dishesBreakfast Sandwich
Drive through is almost always closed. Normally it takes about 20-30 minutes just to get a coffee if using drive through. The other day it was moderately busy maybe 6 cars in line this is busy for them .. I arrived at 3:10 and didn’t get my coffee until 3:45. Service is incredibly slow, as I was waiting for my coffee there was a girl making coffee in her sweatpants while checking her phone. It took her almost 5 minutes to make one coffee.
this 5 star review is for one staff member only, this morning was a crazy, understaffed, delayed rush inside the store. i was waiting nearly 20 minutes for my drink, only one staff member acknowledged the wait and managed to rush and get me my drinks and get me out the door on time for work. I believe his name is Sinclair? he deserves to be recognized as a star employee and i hope his entire day isn’t a rush like it was this morning and he gets a well deserved break. very appreciated Sinclair!
The slowest drive through in existence. When it is operating it takes forever. I have sat for over an hour and I pre-ordered. They clearly cannot keep up and should just close the drive thru option permanently. Go inside and you wait as long there. They clearly cannot keep up with the demand.
I’ve never had a problem with the staff of this Starbucks despite how often I see a new face. Sometimes mistakes in orders are made but we all make them and so far it hasn’t been anything major. Unfortunately, I got a new car that i’m not used to and have since embarrassed myself in the drive thru twice this week so I’m sad to say I can never show my face again. : You will be missed.
As a former Starbucks employee, this place is not run well at all. I don’t blame the employees but obviously the training isn’t there. The employees seem very overwhelmed all the time and it’s messy and all over the place and honestly gross back behind the counter. We ordered mobile order and waited about 30 minutes. We then asked when it would be up and they said we pick up our own mobile by the front counter which is a good system but we saw no sign for it to be picked up there :
Took 30 min from order to walking out the door with my drink. Too long! Staff were nice.Service: 2/5
I came into Starbucks was clueless on what I wanted so darcyor darcie gave me a phenomenal recommendation on what to drink and it hit the spot and put my cravings right lol
I really like this Starbucks. There staff and store manager is very friendly. Must try!!
Came into this Starbucks to get some work done and enjoy coffee and this morning’s staff is awesome! They are all hustling and super friendly. The wifi is also the best we have found in Whitehorse too!
