I really wanted to like this place. I got the chicken melt, and it was really mediocre at best. It tasted like a frozen sandwich that had been heated up. I also the diced potatoes seemed like they were reheated, did not seem fresh. My friend got the 2 egg breakfast and said it was OK. I wish I would have ordered off the Chinese menu, it probably would have been better.
I wasn’t too excited to go here but my family was getting a procedure done and it was the only decently rated place to go. Entering into the restaurant felt like a Chinese restaurant turned breakfast place. The food was good but the condiments must have been bad. The scones were the best in town. I don’t know if I will be back but I would say if your around I would stop in and try
Ordered at 12noon didn't receive it 1 hrs. Later. No refills on drinks bad service. My grandparents used to go there all the time.Food: 3/5
It was passable. The parking is a bit of a mess, but there are plenty of signs to help out. The service was pretty good. The food was hot, the eggs were cooked to order, but the steak was tough and the potatoes were dry. I think the cooks are good at what they do, but they aren't getting the best ingredients to begin with. It's good enough for me to come back if I am in the area or invited by someone. It just won't be somewhere that I go out of my way to enjoy.
This place isn't what it used to be. The food today breakfast was less than average, and less than good. We're not sure what the toast was made of, but very very bland and odd texture. Service wasn't what we are used to there, either. Maybe just an off day that we all have. Two stars is a stretch.
Used to come here with family when we came to town and thought we'd give it a visit for old times sake. My family of 5 and I arrived around 11 for breakfast. After we got our drinks and ordered we waited over an hour for our food. We ended up leaving without ever receiving our meals. We watched as other parties received their food, ate and left. We will never patronize this restaurant again.
There was a short wait. The staff was quick to help and have us seated. Seemed clean. Nice atmosphere. Our waitress and staff were kind and quick to provide us with anything we needed. The wait for our food wasn't too long average. It was not expensive at all. You receive a good amount of food for your money. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. It was easy to get in, around, and out of the building.
The Star Cafe is our favorite breakfast restaurant. We have been going there for many years. The staff is always friendly. It's a place where everyone knows your name and welcomes you. Tiffany and Jenny are our favorite waitresses.Food: 5/5
Absolutely horrible, the food was horrendous. I ate two bites and decided to find somewhere else to go. They offered to take 20% off of my bill. Wow gee thanks. I’d rather pay $30 and walk out of there with my stomach intact than eat food that isn’t fit for human consumption. Worst breakfast dining experience I have ever had. There is something fishy about this place.
If you like good food.. don't eat here! Idk how u mess up a breakfast so bad! I ordered on door dash and got an inedible $20 breakfast! The hash browns were completely burned but they turned the black burned part upside down so u didnt see uit till iu took a bite! Literally, the sausage was so burned it was jerky consistency. I ordered 3 pancakes and got 4 pieces of black burnt toast and a doughy undercooked scone that were thrown in a disgusting greasy brown bag!! The tiny piece of ham was half fat and the bacon was undercooked! The entire plate was just a waste! I can't even eat it!!!! My first time ordering here... so disappointing and a waste of money! Avoid!!!!!
