Great place to print when the printer at home is not working lol. Good customer service but it can get busy.
This staples is poorly staffed with employees who cannot perform their duties and staffed with a GM who is not dedicated to customer service or helpful in anyway. I went in to ship a package in July and received a tracking number and left the store thinking everything was taken care of and shipped. I got a call this month in November 4 months later saying to come pick up my package because they never shipped itnI had about $900 worth of returns in this package which I’ve now missed the return and refund window on. When I asked to speak to the GM, she was not sympathizing and kept asking what I wanted her to do about it. She offered me a $50 gift card to staples for the inconvenience of her staff not shipping the package and no one, not one person calling to tell me the package never left their store until 4 months later.nDo not ship anything from here, they are careless and do not care if you lose money or packages and take no responsibility for their staffs lack of action.
Husband went to fax documents . Had never used a fax machine before. Employees at counter refused to help him , claiming service is self-serve. He finally got some help from another employee after 4 attempts to send documents. Meanwhile, employee who had told him she wasn’t allowed to help him had gone to help another gentleman who came in . Used to go in frequently to do photocopies and to get supplies but I’m Never going in that store again.
A big thank you to the amazing staff at Staples in Orleans! They worked together to find me the perfect laptop at the best price and had all my data transferred within 24 hours. Fantastic service!
I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Staples location today. I waited an unacceptable 55 minutes to return an Amazon package with a QR code, which takes no more than 2 minutes to process.nnOnly one very overwhelmed employee was handling the entire line of customers.nnWhile another employee stood behind the back counter at the Print Service section. Attempting to hide from the long line of customers waiting to be served. This employee were very clearly avoiding work and wasting time.nnThis isn’t an isolated issue, it’s been happening for days. While I understand the Canada Post strike has caused a spike in customers.nnHowever, having only one employee actually doing their job is unacceptable and a very embarrassing look for the management of this Staples location.nnIf Staples wants to handle shipping services, they need better staffing and organization.nnAdding clearer signage to separate Amazon QR code returns from Purolator/FedEx shipments or introducing a dedicated drop-off bin for QR code returns would save everyone time.nnMoreover, hiring employees who are not just clocked in, but are actively working and serving customers would help minimize wait times substantially.nnThis level of mismanagement reflects poorly on Staples and should be looked into as soon as possible.
