In the store at 4:30pm and the store closes at 5:00pm. Had an employee with her coat on tell us that the store was closed but it was not. Rude reply given by her when we said no one approached us to help. She replies with “Well you didn’t go and look for someone”. Visible staff on the floor completely reluctant to provide any help or customer service of any kind. This is not the first time at the Tenth Line location. Time for re-training of staff on the BASICS of customer service. Gladly spent our money elsewhere.
Today was a joy. I needed to print some flyers . I am older, not that knowledgeable of tech stuff. Briana in the printing was amazing. Customers everywhere . She took care of two customers at once . Me being one. calm and happy , kind, a genius At multi tasking. She got Paula to do my order. Gave me suggestions, how to save money, enrolled me to win a 1000. All kinds of stuff and very quickly. What service girls. Your boss should know you guys are hard workers and just plain epic.
I went to that location today and needed help at the self- service area. I approached this employee named Ayden, who was very rude from the get go if he could help me at the self-service, he stated that” he has to help all these people first and that I will have to wait” I was the only visible person at the desk. Ok, fine I went back to self-service and waited 10 minutes. All this time, he is chatting and laughing with a co-worker. At this point it became very apparent to me that Ayden was “helping” other people.nnI went back to him and asked him why he hasn’t helped me and that I have been waiting on him while he is chatting and laughing with his co-league? He said to me ” I am denying you service and that your business is not needed, have a good night” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing out of his mouth. I said to him, it’s your job to help customers if they need help and that you can’t talk to people like that. He said to me again “ I am refusing you service” His female co-worker whom he chatting and laughing with accused me of yelling and told me to leave the store. She called her supervisor and told him that I was screaming at them. I guess me asking firmly why I wasn’t being helped is “yelling”nnI explained to the supervisor the situation. His response was “ you’re at the self-service area, we can’t really help you” yep these were words that came out of the supervisor’s mouth. A this point I realized that the apples didn’t fall too far from the tree and this behaviour was acceptable starting from management to employees. I didn’t say another word and just walked away. Since I was told by little Ayden and reaffirmed by his supervisor that my business was not needed, I will not set another foot at this location.
Was at the print area wanting to return an Amazon pkg not realizing it was an independent seller and to be returned by Canada Post. The guy at the counter heavy set, grey beard did a calculation to ship within Ontario and gave me a price of $119. The pkg was less than a pound. He said CP would be $20 or so. I told him at least 3 times that I shipped similar pkgs at Christmas and they cost me letter mail prices only. Completely ignored what was saying. It ended up costing me $2.95.
Very disappointed with the service at Staples – 10th Line. I went there to send a FedEx package, and the employee named Aydan gave me incorrect information, telling me that I only had 6 days to ship my package, while the FedEx app clearly shows a 14-day limit.nnAfter checking the information on the app, I returned to the store. I waited over 15 minutes to be helped by another employee, who completed the shipment in less than 2 seconds without any issue.nnWhen I informed Aydan of the mistake, he responded in a very unprofessional manner by turning his head away and telling his customer, “I don’t know what she’s talking about.” This lack of professionalism and respect is unacceptable.
