Absolutely avoid this Staples location if you value your time, money, or basic customer service.nnI placed an online order for in-store pickup, and when I arrived, a female cashier used a dull pen to rip open my package, claiming they “have to show customers what’s inside.” At the time I didn’t think much of it, but once I got home I noticed a dent in the cardboard packaging — and worse, the actual product inside was damaged too. The damage clearly happened because of how carelessly the package was handled in-store.nnLess than an hour later, I returned to the store for a refund, only to be treated even worse. An employee named Mahesh flat-out refused to process the return, falsely claiming that Staples does not accept returns for damaged products purchased online. That is completely untrue. When I asked to speak to the store manager, he claimed the manager “wasn’t there” and refused to even contact them.nnI then called Staples customer service directly, and they confirmed that this store was either completely misinformed or outright lying. Staples policy clearly states that online purchases can be returned in-store, including damaged items.nnThe entire experience was unbelievably frustrating and dishonest. Between employees damaging merchandise, refusing legitimate returns, spreading false information, and showing zero accountability, this store operates with a shocking lack of professionalism and integrity. I have never experienced customer service this bad at a Staples before.nnI will absolutely be filing a formal complaint with corporate. Save yourself the headache and avoid this location entirely.
The customer service was amazing, especially Alan, who was very helpful, friendly, and professional. He provided excellent service and definitely deserves recognition.nnHowever, the men’s washroom really needs attention. The toilet was clogged, the flush handle/knob wasn’t working, and there was a large amount of toilet paper in the toilet with feces on top of it. There was also toilet paper on the floor before I even entered the washroom. Hopefully this can be addressed and maintained better in the future.
Worst experience ever at STAPLES. I went to BUY a phone and the staff had a really bad attitude. First he told he have phone he went inside the back room & came back in just a second & told nope we dont have just terrible attitude like they don't want customers. If you don't want to sell products, why are you open? I have never felt so disrespected as a customer. I will never go back and I will tell everyone to avoid this location. Management needs to train their staff on basic customer service. ZERO STARS if I could.

The associate who answered the phone in the tech department was quite rude. As a retail worker, I understand that it is annoying when a customer who is trying to call the print department calls another department to inquire about their print order since the print department isn't picking up their phone, but it could have been handled easily without the frustrated tone of voice and redirected my call to the right department.nnI am grateful that the associate in the print department was able to accommodate my 1-minute late same-day order, whoever that was, thank you!
