i cant say enough good things about this place - my Jersey girl, is so stand offish and has severe separation anxiety yet after a few days at this daycare, she actually pulls towards the shop rather than away. my little Van who’s still young who is in need of constant attention and needs to be socialized comes home and sleeps the night away because he clearly played hard. they send you pictures every time showing you exactly what kind of other dogs your dogs are around and how they’re responding. super friendly, super professional, and they offer great long term packages A+++
I am thrilled with all the services I have received at Stanley Bark, both the amazing daycare and grooming. The daycare is extremely well run and great care is taken to ensure that every dog is in a happy and healthy environment. As my puppy is quite young, they took him on a half day trial first to make sure he was going to fit in well and be compatible with the other dogs in their care. Now as soon as I approach their location, my puppy is pulling enthusiastically at his lead and he can't wait to get in the door! Thanks Jade for looking after him so well, and giving me a much needed break when needed! After taking my puppy elsewhere for grooming before I heard about Stanley Bark, he had one terrible and one so-so experience. After one grooming with James at Stanley Bark, my puppy has seriously never looked so good. What's more, James is very knowledgeable about the breed a Portie even though they aren't really common. As a result, we could have a meaningful discussion about what we wanted to achieve from the grooming and he explained what is typical for the breed. Further, he knew exactly how to handle their behaviour patterns which can be challenging and stubborn but also delightful! I urge anyone looking for a great daycare environment where they can leave their dog knowing they will be extremely well cared for, or an excellent and very knowledgeable groomer to go to Stanley Bark!
We bring our dog here from time to time and he really loves it! He gets excited every time he goes in, and when we pass by the daycare is closed our dog stops right at the door like asking to go in. It is also really easy to book through the site. You can also phone last minute to see if there's a spot left. You also get photo updates every time your dog goes to Stanley Bark, which we find really cute and funny! It's also great to be kept in the loop. You can pay every time you go in, or you can buy 5 or 10 passes at a time for half day sessions or full day sessions. There is also a monthly pass. Would totally recommend!
This place is the best for grooming! Local, friendly, and reasonable value. James and the crew really care about dogs, and it shows. I can’t recommend this place enough.
My dog loves her time at Stanley Bark. I take her there for day care when I am at work. She wags her tail at like 100 wags per minute when we arrive in the morning. The staff sends photos at the end of the day so you can see what your dog got up to. I have not used the grooming service so I can not speak to that, but the staff at the day care are very nice people and my dog loves it.
I can't say enough wonderful things about Stanley Bark! James and Jade are both so great with the dogs and our dog Indie loves going there! All of the dogs get lots of attention during the day and they do a great job of grouping dogs that play well together. We use it for daycare, grooming and boarding and would highly recommend it to anyone!
Brought my Australian Terrier here at the start of 2022 for hand stripping and grooming and have been so impressed after every visit. She looks great and we are so happy with the way she looks and how her coat feels. James really knows what he’s doing and it shows!
It took me long time to find someone who knows how to trim my Labrador’s black nails. This place is very friendly and professional. He is the best nail trimmer in the world. And I’ve seen several of them here in BC and in Europe.
Another dog owner I was chatting with as we were walking our dogs recommended Stanley Bark So I went home and checked out their website and found that they do walk in nail trims so off we went this am a few blocks away from where we live and amazing his first time done lickety split 6 minutes! perfect pawdicure! I was dreading it more than my little guy lol Thank you very much!
