Prepare to wait on the phone for at least 1 hour to get through to the surgery. Then expect to talk to an impatient receptionist. Don't expect to get an appointment, because it seems from the receptionist that you don't even need one. Gone are the days when you felt u needed to talk to Dr, that you could do that. Go have a look for yourself. The surgery provides a beautiful reception area to seat at least 30, but these seats remain empty. Their patients are not being seen.

This is outstanding practice and Dr Vinay Patel is an absolute Master in his field. I found this GP as welcoming, polite, helpful, professional and full of respect towards me during each visit and phone conversation. I've never seen a practice so clean and hygienic as this one. A big thank you to the whole team!

My mother and father 92 and 90 have been at the practice for over 40 years recently the practice has begun ignoring them more and more to the point where my mother has found to be vitamin deficient because of a failure to do blood work . Upon finding this out it was also promised that a doctor would contact her and sort the situation out. After much effort to get the doctor to respond we finally got some basic vitamins. The medication unfortunately causing much distress so she attempted to contact the doctors she was fobbed off for over two weeks. Eventually somebody finally had the courage to say that the doctor has no intention of contacting her because now Stoke Newington Church Street is inaccessible for them and they are overstretched this is absolutely gob smacking to me that you would drop two people of 90+ years have been your patience for 40 years during a heat wave. This is truly shabby and low behaviour. The fact that they have been struggling for two weeks to find out that they now refuse to see them is a true act of cowardice.

I am literally SO ANGRY at this GP. The most horrible service ever. They were not able to treat my Urine Tract Infection correctly 3 times and that's why I now have recurrent UTI that are extremely persistent and the fact that I am pregnant doesn't make them take it more seriously. Absolutely horrible. Never again. I am changing the GP.

The worst and disgusting service i have ever received from a GP Practice. Rude, arrogant, self centred and unhelpful receptionists. Appointments are never available! Always promise a call back, when they do, phone cuts off, and they say "they have done their job" cant even bother calling back again Discrimination and anti Semitic abuse against the local community. Do yourself the favour and try and find yourself an alternative option! They have been reported to PALS and NHS England.

I am saddened and surprised to see such negative reviews. Our family has been using Stamford Hill Group Practice for just over 20 years now and we have always found the doctors, nurses and other staff to be incredibly committed, friendly and helpful. They offer excellent care and advice and we are always able to get an appointment when we need one. This is an outstanding GP Practice.

Receptionists are rude and unhelpful. Called to ask about ordering a repeat prescription and how it's done as online i'm unable to do this and it says I need to call my GP practice. Was told I was wasting time clogging up the phone lines and to not ring them and instead ring my chemist or come in and fill in the form. Explained I am happy to do this but didn't know this was protocol!

this is the first practise that we have used in London that has been generally very good with dealing with my mothers health issues. I'm very grateful that I'm able to speak to the doctors on the phone while dealing with my mother. to be able to book an appointment to speak to a doctor without needing to go to the clinic for me is great and when you do need to see a doctor face to face that can be arranged easily. This practise has done far more then previous doctors my mother has seen before. I'm am very pleased with this practise.

After having to change my GP few times I’ve registered with Stamford hill group practice and I’m so glad I did I’m so happy with the service I receive Dr Vinney Patel is an amazing Doctor with so much knowledge polite and a good listener Dr Barker again amazing receptionist Veronica never turns you down tries her best to help. I wish I could give 10 star they really deserve it seeing negative comments I’m assuming it’s a few Karen’s. Thank you all for your service
