I have NEVER felt more unwelcomed as a single person in any establishment in my life! I have supported this business since it opened in Bowmanville. I dine alone and I go 3 to 4 days a week. - regular customer should get good service.nnSeveral times I’ve gone here and received my plate Started to eat and went to the bathroom. Today I ate one egg and they cleared my whole entire plate threw my food in the garbage. My bag was at my seat. I feel so unwelcome as a single person in this restaurant. This is not the first time that this has happened. The last time they sat somebody else at my seat and there was nowhere else for me to sit in the restaurant so I had to leave… “I’m sorry” does not suffice when it is not the first time.nnThis business is not welcoming to single people.nThe food is hit and miss. Sometimes the home fries are cooked. Sometimes they’re still hard inside and sometimes they are too crispy on the outside with burn marks like the second plate I refused to eat they brought me after they threw my food out.nWho wants to eat after you have told me I am not welcomed in your business by throwing my food out?nnI really like the staff here and I do like the owner, but she does not manage the staff appropriately. This is a problem that should never have happened more than once. I have supported this business as I said regularly however, I can no longer support them. I do not feel welcomed in a restaurant that throws out my food. I literally ate one egg. Do we not teach our staff to ask questions or maybe ask the server because she just gave me the food. I was going to tip the bill today because it was my server’s birthday however, I am so disappointed. I am never supporting this business again.
Always busy but we always manage to get seating within 10-15 minutes.nnFood is good and made to order, just need to be very specific on how you want your eggs or it will come to you undercooked.nnI love their pancakes. Always a treat. My favourite is the biscoff one.nnService has always been great, staff are friendly and check in on you.
Ross is the best server ever, he got me water 7 Times! Safe to say, I won’t be leaving here thirsty… thanks Ross! - Licked plate clean, soooooo yummy
I had the pleasure of being served breakfast by Dimitra this morning. The food was great. What a lovely young lady. Throughout our meal, Dimitra was attentive and so personable, checking in to see if we had everything we needed for our meal. I don’t normally leave reviews but felt like I had to after this awesome service. Next time I come to Stacked, I’ll certainly be asking for Dimitra!!
thoroughly enjoyed the warm and inviting ambiance, complemented by a great selection of breakfast options. The staff were fantastic—attentive, friendly, and welcoming—which added to the overall positive experience. The lively atmosphere reflected how popular the place is, and rightfully so. As a small suggestion, it would be wonderful to see kosher or halal protein options added to the menu to cater to a wider range of guests. Other than that, I have no complaints—keep up the excellent work.
