Wow. Who knew a bagel could be so delicious. I got the classic sesame bagel, it was still hot it was so fresh. The bagel was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy and beautiful on the inside. The sesame seeds must have been harvested from heaven, they were so good. Again, who knew bird feed on a bagel could be so enjoyable. This is NOT the st. viateur cafe where they prepare the bagels for you. Just a bagel shop. They did have cream cheese and drinks here though.

The lines are insanely long, but when you’re an institution like this, it’s expected. Come early if you can. The bagels are excellent but it’s expected right? Prices for the sandwiches have definitely gone up, but they’re worth a visit. Amazing chew on the bagel, nice texture and always a delicious bite. Get a sandwich, take a dozen bagels home for your friends and family and buy a cheap jumbo tote bag!

Last time here was 20 years ago and they are still best bagel bakers in Canada. Cash only folks, don’t gripe because signs outside and inside warning you ahead. Not just a great bagel but a great experience— expect to stand in line, there have been line ups here since 1957

I have been going to this location for years. 100% quality, excellent prices, always fresh bagels available in large quantities. Never disappointed, definitely to be recommended! They only accept cash!

Delicious bagel at a great price! People ordered by the dozens! The line was out of the door on Saturday but moved quickly. It’s less doughy than New York style bagels but still tasty.

This place has amazinggg bagels. I drive from ottawa on a regular basis just to bring back a dozen bagels. If you’re lucky, you may be able to stumble on the warm freshly made ones. The sesame ones are a must but you should try out the different flavours, if you’re into a sweeter bagel, the blueberry ones are also very delicious.

St Viateur Bagel is well worth the trip. Spectacular Montreal style bagels, in a small shop. You can get all the classics: All dressed, sesame seed and poppy seed. They also sell all the bagel accessories. St V’s is also on the Montreal food tour route so don’t be surprised to see 20 ppl munching on a bagel.

The best bagels in Montreal. We tried fairmount the day before, but this was a completely different experience. There are seats inside as well as outside, dozens of different bagel flavours as well as spreads and toppings. You can also buy bagels in bulk. We bought a dozen to take home.

If i’m not mistaken that is the original location of this wonderful Montreal land mark .it’s a well established brand of bagels. This location has the best bagel In Montreal hands down! And I feel it’s better than the other locations they have . Thank you its was delicious!
