The atmosphere is amazing and love the extreme high ceiling, so much baked goods and they all looked delicious!! Here’re the bads; very slow service!! No menu until we asked 15mins later, simple coffees took almost 20mins, we ordered a few breakfasts, took forever, 1 out of 3 coffees was watery, had to refuse it. If service improves this can easily be 5star, but until then…..
I liked this place and re-visited first time this year. There are a few things disappointed compared to last year. All the overhead decorations were very dusty. When sun comes in could see dusts covered the things hanging from celing. Restroom was dirty, no soap and tolilet paper was not properly stocked in the place. We ordered food and a guy took out 2 plates with food debris left. Then he went to back to get something. Thought he will get clean plates. But came back with wet cloth and wiped the dirty dishes and started put food on it. I regret that I didn't complain at the moment as he was acting like it's normal thing to do. The amount of food and a drink in the picture costed us $63. Food taste was good and it was enough for 2 people. The atmosphere is still good looking but need through cleaning and server education.
We had a wonderful time there. We went for a holiday brunch and it was so satisfactory. The coffee was good, cannoli were too mouth watering. We ordered Macaroons too. It was tasty but not as much as cannolis. They have other italian menus too. We tried calamari fries. It felt a little dry but the taste was sooo good. We wish to come back again to try their other dessert options. Overall atmosphere was comfortable. It was spacious, interior was eye catching, and there was not too much of a crowd. Do come here. You'll definitely love it!!"
Great place for coffee date, Love the vibe. Good food, specially pasta and their pastry/cakes section.
I've been here a few times and had enjoyed my meals and the take away pastries. Came here for brunch this time. I very much enjoyed the French toast with Chantilly cream.
Came on Sunday. I’ve been here many times for pastry’s and the hot table but never for sit down brunch. We each got brunch and cappuccino. I ordered The Croffle - a waffle made from croissant dough. My friend ordered the Il Duce - butter croissant with omelette and roasted potatoes. Both menu items totally exceeded our expectations.and the coffee was close to what I’ve had in Italy. Our waitress was super friendly but the service was a bit sporadic. There’s no designated host stand or waiting area so things seemed to get chaotic pretty quickly - especially when the lunch crowd shuffles in.
My sisters and I came to St. Philips for breakfast over the weekend and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will certainly be back!
All fur coat and no knickers .. looks lovely and the food looks great . Though this is my second time at this location in a year and funny enough a year ago I ordered a glass of wine and the machine didn’t work . Rewind a year later and the same. Seriously??? Does no one order wines ? Second they are under staff who just don’t really have a clue of what’s going on . The food that we ordered was cold .. for the amount of money you spend you would expect something better .
We love this spot. The ambience is amazing with high ceilings and different food sections. We do drop in regularly for a coffee and treat. We were pleasantly surprised this morning as breakfast is now an option. Wow! The breakfast items are reasonably priced and taste fantastic. Everything tasted so fresh. We actually felt like we were having breakfast at a cafe in Europe. Excellent table service as well - staff were very attentive. Well done!
Beautiful and aesthetic place. Loved the food. Although the Rum pastry was way too strong for my liking.
