St. Nicholas Elementary School

In my grade 8 year they scheduled all of the grade 8 classes so poorly that there were three classes and one had almost 40 students. When they did fix up the classes, I was put in to a new class where we didn't get an actual teacher until almost the end of November, and when the did get a teacher, he had missed so much of the school year that he had no idea what he was doing

The teachers try their best, but the school is inadequately organized, and it is clear that Liberal ideology is forced into the heads of the small minded and impressionable grade 6 - 8's. Watching CNN student news and doing projects on "social justice" is not my cup of tea. As a Conservative, I was constantly crucified by my classmates and teachers alike. Open discussion and free flowing debate doesn't seem like a priority in this school. With regards to the education system, the way the assignments are scheduled throughout the year leaves a lot to be desired. Cramming in all the poorly managed projects into the last 3 weeks of school is not usually what one would expect in a well organized school. In my grade 8 year, our entire curriculum was not even covered throughout the expanse of the year. I did enjoy my time at the school thanks to my friends and thanks to a select few teachers. This is not coming from a biased perspective, either. I was well respected by my peers and teachers, and always did well on my academics. All in all, this school has friendly teachers for the most part, but not much else going for it.

When I when to St. Nicolas I was the only black kid there and I had problems every day I would be in the office for nothing. There is lots of bullies so my mom pulled me out then I went to Ellwood then Allan drive middle school.

Hit and miss with some teachers. Mr. lidster was thr best principal they had.
