Great school, staff are extremely helpful and caring. They are understandably busy this time of year but the wonderful people in the office reassure you that everything is under control.
The most frustrating school I've ever dealt with. Very slow, very disorganized and not a care in the world for the students passing through. This place is nothing more than a paycheck for those who work there.
St. Nicholas Adult High School was a unique experience that played a role in earning my high school diploma.nnThe most memorable experience while enrolled at SNAHS was the exterior and interior design and layout of the educational institute. The gymnasium was regulation size and the space to play basketball, floor hockey, volleyball, or even events.nnThe faculty was helpful and understanding of life’s challenges that were amongst the students. Every student had their own story on what compelled them to earn their high school diploma. I learned a lot from the other students. The faculty had a zero-tolerance policy for high school drama and it meant automatic expulsion. There was no such thing as suspensions. Most of the students were not in it for the drama and just wanted to earn their diploma and go as far as they can go in life.nnAnother positive quality about St.Nicholas Adult High was the free breakfast program. It helped students facing various challenges and made their lives a little bit better. A few of the students brought some condiments from home to bring to “the breakfast table” on how we all referred to the breakfast program.nnMy overall experience while enrolled at St. Nicholas Adult High School was primarily positive, but philosophical differences were here and there and amongst the faculty and students which everyone handled differently while on their journey to earn their high school diploma.
I just wanted to thank the teachers who contribute to my education this year. Without all your support, I’ll not finish the program. I would like to encourage people to continue their education at St Nicholas High School on admiral Ave. This location is the best school to make you achieve your goal. During my education, I received all the support necessary from all my teachers and admin staff. I would like to thank Julia, Thomas, Julie Anne, Anne-Marie, and Trudy.
The staff at St. Nicholas Adult High school made me feel very comfortable when i first walked through the doors. They helped me become a graduate!!!! I would still be lost if it wasn't for this school. Thank you to everyone who has helped me succeed. I feel very grateful to know that all of the staff cared about me so much. Some of the courses were a struggle and sometimes I felt that I couldn't do it, but the teachers guided me through and i finished. The work for credits course was absolutely amazing; I love the teacher that taught it! She answered all of the questions that I had. I am so happy that I decided to get my diploma; it was well worth the effort! Cheers to new beginnings!!!
