All are welcome without exception! Sundays: Choral Eucharist 10 am, Wednesdays Eucharist with Lectio Gospel reflection 11 am.
St Luke’s Anglican Church is an inclusive community that centres around God’s total self giving, the Holy Eucharist. Steeped in a Contemplative Spirituality, we embrace a vision of community, tradition, mystery and hope. The Holy Trinity, Adonai, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit invites us to “become participants in the divine nature” ( 2 Peter 1:4), and so we yield to the divine indwelling as “God became human that human would become god” (St Athanatius).
Join us for our principle Sunday sung Eucharistic celebrations with programming for children: traditional at 10 am and ‘in the round’ at 4:30 pm. On Wednesdays at 11 am we share in a simple ‘lectio divina’ oriented liturgy with Holy Eucharist, we gather for Centering Prayer on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 and on the first Friday of every month for our Labyrinth Walk and Mediation.
The first fruit of a Eucharistic and Contemplative Spirituality is a robust hospitality and work for social justice. We strive to follow the first commandment:
“To love one another” (John 13:34). We need your help serving the world God loves, in Jesus’ name.
