The Food Connection has been fighting hunger in Pierce County since 1982. Our main food bank is located in Tacoma, our mobile food bank is in the Springbrook area of Lakewood, and our children's programs support hungry students throughout the year.

To make sure that all Pierce county residents have enough healthy food to eat.

Very polite and respectful, helped me pick up things and bag up. Nice variety of fresh and canned food, bread, beans,rice.

Not sure if there is a good time for pickup of food. The food bank is more than likely empty of the most important nutritional foods. No good fresh vegetables and meats. The workers are very slow, and short on their tempers. The place could also use a good cleaning up.

I volunteer at St. Leo's food connection. Very nice people to work with. I also get food there. Great selection to pick from.
