They are the nicest vets around! They always take excellent care of my unruly dog, even when cutting his nails! Amazing community feel.

Poor communication and charged me for shots my dog never needed. I moved to area , I was informed they would get all the files related to my dog prior to my visit ... which they didn't. Whatever files they did have were all incorrect, since I was a first time client would expect them to verify the information. but they didn't! They thought my dog was 1.5 years old when he is actually almost 3! So the vet started off with the wrong information .. when asked about the vaccines she asked me to contact the old veterinary clinics. ( I was thinking weren't you suppose to do that!) I found that a little strange however I did call them and got the information she requested. When she return into the room I told her about the three shots my dog received 1.5 years ago and that the other vet said were do. She told me that actually only Leptospira would be required .. because the other rage and base are only needed every 3 years. (I thought that was very honest of her) I understood and we proceeded. Well it turns out when I get to the cash I'm charged and extra $100! It seems she in fact did administered the vaccine for rage and base to my dog. I told the receptionist that it must be a mistake. The vet just told me it wasn't necessary. So at that time the vet to speak about this, so I was then informed that I would need to pay the full amount and that they would contact my old vet and see if indeed he receive those shots (which they should of did from the beginning) and if he did receive those shots I would receive a credit. Well a few hours later , the actual vet called me and explained how it was a misunderstanding and she is sorry .. but offered no credit as promised by a staff member. I find this poor business based upon poor communication and the lack of research into your dog's history. This is my first ever google review, because I'm tired of being taken advantage of by veterinary clinics like this who focus on money and upselling anything and everything to you. If you live in the area be prepared anytime you walk into this veterinary office.

Always a warm welcome and great, professional help from Dr. Renaud and all the staff. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else with our dog. He is quite large (a Bernese) and he loves Dr. Renaud. She is excellent with him and he never minds going to the vet.

I have been going to the Hopital Vétérinaire St-Lazare for 15 years. The staff is always so nice to me and my dogs. This time, Dr. Sauvé did a pleasant and effective consult and as always, Dr. Renaud took care of my dog's surgery with great expertise and care. Thank you very much!
