It's neither the biggest mall in Ottawa nor the one with the most exciting stores, but St. Laurent Shopping Centre is a great one, with quite enough of what you need. It's centrally located and with recent renovations it now looks very spacious, modern and lit, which translates to a relaxing experience and a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers.
St. Laurent used to be the place to be. in 20 years though it has dwindled. Food Court is still awesome. New York Fries is my go to and nice that Booster Juice is there now. The usual stores that you find in malls are there. Just no more excitement. they have shops that have nothing and quite frankly just feels old. Sephora is going in so maybe that will dry people.nnThe parking structure is a little bit nerve wracking. seeing all the shoring posts and what not. Especially after the parking garage collapse in downtown. But hey. at least now when I go I can find a spot.nnBeware of hoodlums trying to be cool. You'll have pop dumped on you and no security to be found.
I still admire the old-fashioned shopping malls. I hope these fantastic places wiI love the hustle and bustle of a good old-fashioned shopping mall ! There's something so exciting about browsing through different stores and finding unexpected treasures. I really hope they don't become a thing of the past with the rise of online shopping. Great upscale shopping center with tons of free parking situated right off the 417. Great food court with diverse choices. Something for everyone!
