“Bright spaces, clean facilities, and a mall that’s evolving with Ottawa.”nn St. Laurent Shopping Centre – Ottawa, ON nnSt. Laurent is one of Ottawa’s known Shopping Centre, and while it remains a reliable spot, it has seen some changes over the years since it opened in Oct.1967. A number of stalls and even major anchors like Hudson’s Bay have permanently closed.nnMany of the current retailers lean toward low-end fast fashion. For bargain hunters, this means frequent sales and clearance finds, though those looking for upscale brands may find the selection limited.nnThat said, the spacious common areas are a real highlight. The mall is designed with wide walkways, high ceilings, and striking glass dome skylights that fill the space with natural light. The modern chandelier accents add a touch of style, making the atmosphere bright and inviting even if some store fronts are vacant.nnThe Restaurant Terrace food court is roomy and offers a wide array of food choices — perfect for a quick meal. Another standout feature is the washrooms: despite the heavy food court traffic, they’re impressively clean, modern, and accessible, with large signage and braille plaques for inclusivity.nnOverall, Whether you’re looking for a quick bite, bargain hunting, or just enjoying a stroll through bright and spacious walkways under the glass dome ceilings, St. Laurent offers a comfortable mall experience in the heart of Ottawa.nnSt. Laurent delivers on comfort and convenience, even if the retail mix is shifting. It’s a a comfortable place to shop, stroll, and grab a bite when in Ottawa.”nn#StLaurentOttawa #OttawaShopping #MallVibes #FoodCourtEats #CleanFacilities #BrightSpaces #InclusiveDesign #BecauseServiceMatters #FreeParking #WheelChairAccessible
The mall is very good but the bathroom is impossible to find there were gangs of kids riding animals all over and it was a lot of fun to see them all over the place.
I’ve been to St. Laurent Shopping Centre countless times over the years, and it’s a place that carries a lot of memories for me. The easy parking has always made it one of the most convenient malls to visit — quick to get in, quick to get out, and reliable every time.nnIt’s also one of the biggest shopping centres in Ottawa, along with Bayshore, Rideau Centre, and Place d’Orléans. The mix of stores, the familiar layout, and the steady atmosphere make it a spot I kept returning to without even thinking about it.nnIt was also a nice place for my son when he was a toddler — we spent many years stopping by Toys“R”Us, and those visits became part of our routine. Little moments like that stay with you.nnA solid, dependable mall that’s been part of my Ottawa experience for a long time.
My bf and my kids and I went to kill some time and found this little gem not to far from out hotel. My bf and I were pleased as punch to find a ecko store on their upper level and ended up getting my 2 girls matching gold sequin dresses for the show we were going to later that night for $6 regularly almost $50. We enjoyed our walk through this little mall.
I had a great experience at the St. Laurent Shopping Centre in Ottawa! The mall is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to explore all the shops and find what you need. The wide walkways and bright common areas create a pleasant atmosphere, and there’s a varied selection of stores and plenty of options for fashion, accessories, and everyday items.nnThe food court has lots of choices for a quick bite or casual meal, and the free parking makes the visit convenient.nThe mall is also easy to get to by car or transit, which is a big plus.nnOverall, it’s a comfortable and enjoyable place to shop, stroll, and grab a bite — perfect for both everyday errands and a relaxed day out in Ottawa.
