Warm pool, clean change rooms, nice entrance way. Great tot swim lessons. Really like the instructor and the things they teach. When I arrived, the parking lot was almost deserted, with at least 2 cars conducting non pool related business. The front desk staff were completely unaware of the city programming scheduled for the week. Asked me 'if I was sure I was here for lessons' shrugged and let me in when I showed them my booking receipt. When I went in, there were 4 lessons happening at the same time. Change rooms were dated but again super clean and well maintained. Will return.
The pool temperature is awful. Warm isn't a good thing, and there's a reason it's so cloudy compared with other pools. I guess some people enjoy sharing bathwater with strangers though?nnFriendly staff, facilities clean otherwise.
One of the oldest facilities in Winnipeg with swimming and ice hockey options, staff is great and ample of parking. Facility building is an old structure locker room is in very bad shape and most of the lockers are broken. In comparison to other facilities it does not even have basic facilities. Not recommended if other options are available.
Great atmosphere especially when the electricity cut out - provided a little thrill! The big lights hard on my aging eyes, but got used to it. I appreciate the fans’ cheering for any and all good shots, no matter who the favoured team were! Thanks Princess Auto for hats!
My son loves the pool because it is so warm. The only downside is that there is no family washroom.
