St George the Martyr Church

Lovely I think anglican church with detailed ceiling and nice organs.

I attended a birthday party in the basement of this venue. The hall was ok. There is a kitchen that services the hall where you can do all your catering from. There's male and female toilets. The building itself is facing Borough Station and the bus network is great too. Parking is not free before a certain time so you need to plan your journey or you arrive after restrictions. Will probably post photos next time.

Please bring Adam back ! New female Manager has Scrooge Mentality ! also her volunteer fallowed me around getting me to put a few things I had back horrible experience and mean attitude

Great place for everyone who likes going to church.

Currently being restored outside, inside it has been recently refurbished and has a great programme of music events

Provides food for a week for the price of a supermarket sandwich and coffee. In the crypt - entrance around the back. Fantastic service. All revenue supports the good cause of helping people from all over.

Nice very historic church, not grand, nice. Like most churches they have increased accessibility to a wide range of groups. They're going green so a good array of plants and staff / volunteers helping to keep it looking good and introducing biodiversity.

Old English pub with original features from the 1840s.

Went for a children's choir Christmas event. I think it was refurbished about 15 years ago at great expense. It's pretty nice as an event space. Plenty of light and not too much religious chintz.
