I wasted most of my time here. I am in grade 10. I have no idea what to do with my life or my future, but I at least know how to do a 5 paragraph about how cool William Shakespeare was. And the Lockers were big enough to fit all my hopes and dreams. Which I don't have much. Other than that 7/10. Decent place, lots of drama though.
Great school!nThat said, reviews on a school are inherently flawed.nStudents cycle through and the teachers/administration changes. The entire culture of a school goes through transition all of the time and how well a child does depends on many factors. The individual students family background, work ethic, social skills and who else they interact with in the current student body and staff is different for each child.
Absolutely the worst school I’ve ever had to deal with. The teachers and principals are terrible. They do not care for the students and their mental health of the students. They have absolutely no problem solving skills just straight to suspension. They personally attack and harass the children who aren’t perfect.nThey truly don’t care at all and it shows.nnI highly recommend NEVER enrolling your children into this school.nnAs a parent I am sooooo disappointed, upset, and angry at how they’ve treated my son.
this is my SECOND review lol i still hate this school. as a student who’s been here since grade 7 and now in grade 10 i feel like i’ve been here long enough to know that the school is the issue, not me. the staff is absolutely horrendous and i want to commit every single day that i wake up for school! the admin has told me i need to sign a contract or whatever for my attendance but bro I don’t come to school bc it makes me suicidal not because im just lazy! like seriously, pick and choose your battles, don’t make kids sign a contract bc that’s gonna cause more issues, more instances of suicide, more hate towards the school and staff, and create LESS motivation for the students. i won’t name names but i know probably about 6 kids who are planning to switch schools next year due to their hatred for this school. maybe SGA should make some lifestyle changes or focus on something better than using phones and dress coding little girls! also a teacher was literally accused and i believe it of touching teenage girls like 2 years ago, and the school did nothing about it.
yeah this school sucks i guess the curriculum is good and they have some good aspects, but overall the school is trash and over half of the kids who go there are very unhappy there. the teachers in my opinion are very dismissive and they don’t pay much attention to anything other than your grades. obviously that’s their job but the kids deserve teachers who also care about their wellbeing. a couple years ago the staff told somebody i know that they had to cover their self harms scars up because it was a distraction to the other kids. i think saint gabriel is a good school is you want your kid to be getting purely education, but if you care about your kidsnhappiness i would say probably don’t send them here. the counseling is also bad, the ladies who are supposed to be the ones we trust and can open up to are usually the ones who make me feel the worst, in my experience i felt like i was being told how i felt instead of feeling like i could just explain it myself. also if you bring up self harm they will tell your parents just fyi. my apologies for this being written poorly but after all im quite literally a child but i think my opinion should still matter. i have a bias against Sga but i think i speak for more than just myself when i say these things. overall, i hate it here so i think you will too edit over a year later, but i still hate it here it makes me personally want to commit lol I hate this school and i still stand by everything i said in this review
