St David Anglican Church

Pretty Cotswolds village church that is unfortunately closed on Tuesdays coincides with market day which is the day I happened to be there. The grounds were very peaceful and set far enough away from High Street to enjoy the quiet.

I really think St David’s Church is a very special church. We moved here a few months ago and the team have really impressed me. So friendly and genuine and working very effectively to be current and supportive in this demanding age. We go to the Sunday morning 9.30am service and there is always a cup of tea on hand and some uplifting music and messages as well as time for reflection. Sunday school is run by Rob and a great team of helpers - both our children really enjoy it! I walked past the church this morning and this picture for me sums up St David’s Church and their team.

We go regularly to the morning services. Very friendly and welcoming church. Services are very well organised and the teaching from God's word is good and sound .

A lovely and friendly church. Practising and living the faith. Practice makes perfect!

Returned to St Davids on 1 May exactly 50 years after our wedding there on 1 May 1971. Made very welcome and Margo went several extra miles to make our day perfect. Thanks so much. Eric and Angela. Returned for the Sunday service and made so welcome. .
