My husband has been here for almost two weeks now hoping to get home in a few days. They nurses are wonderful. The staff is very friendly. Not much to do. The TV in the seating area is always blue and purple. But you are at the hospital .
St. Clair's Hospital - Exemplary Care from Start to FinishnnI recently had a total hip replacement at St. Clair's Hospital, and I must say my experience was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish.nnThe nursing staff was a true highlight. Pre-op, they were incredibly attentive, ensuring every question was answered with patience and clarity, making me feel at ease during a potentially stressful time. Post-op, their care was nothing short of exemplary; their kindness, professionalism, and dedication to my recovery were evident in every interaction.nnA special shout-out must go to Dr. William Moores. If there's a best surgeon in Canada for hip replacements, it's undoubtedly him. Six weeks post-op, I am thrilled to report my surgery has been a total success. The precision, skill, and care Dr. Moores showed during my procedure have led to a remarkable recovery, far beyond what I expected.nnSt. Clair's Hospital has set a high standard for what patient care should look like. From the moment I walked in until my discharge, I felt in safe, capable hands. If you're considering any surgical procedure, especially a hip replacement, do not hesitate to choose St. Clair's. You'll be in the best hands possible.
Tried my luck for a walk in ECG scan having not been to the hospital before and received the quickest service for a walk in I’ve ever had.nI was seen to within 30 seconds and back out the door again in 5 minutes. This was on a Monday at 2pm also.nnI know our medical workers get a lot of flack, so credit where it’s due. Thank you
Sitting in the Emergency Room for over 8 hours to see a doctor, terrible hospital! I’ve been a nurse for over 25 years and this is the most pathetic emergency room I’ve ever seen, twenty people have entered in 4 hours and only 2 people have seen a doctor and they’ve waited over 8 hours. Avoid this hospital, understaffed and slow. Ontario has much better healthcare, I remember why I left this province 25 years ago to become a nurse, I would never come back if I didn’t have family in NFLD.
More than 12 hours waiting from 2 pm and now is 2 am it’s 12 hours and I’m still waiting just for consultation never come here make this clinic close please
