Let me start off by saying the staff was so delightful and the service was great! Food was okay! I had the Fish & Chips. The fish was good but missing a little something I think it has something to do with the seasoning. Otherwise, their fries are sooooo bomb . They remind me so much of the Burger Priest fries. My husband was saying that his was okay as well. Again, something was missing with his fried chicken in regards to flavour and texture. Overall, I would come back as their food wasn’t bad and was super affordable, the atmosphere was great, and I would love to try their shepherds pie! The flavour of our dishes was the only reason I docked a .

I LOVE eating here. I usually come here with three other friends once a month. I don't know how they consistently do it, but they ALWAYS over-deliver on the quality of their food, and at really reasonable price. I went there yesterday with a friend for a patio lunch and had a wonderful British waitress serve us. She was very busy on the patio but still provided excellent service! The 40 Creek burger and sweet potato fries were excellent! Perfect food, perfect service!

The fishing and chips we're good. I don't remember the name of the other dish but it was very tasty. Very clean establishment. The staff were very helpful. It's a busy little place. I recommended.

I like the freshened decor! Excellent traditional British breakfast with beans, sausages and eggs. Unlimited coffee. Substituted my toast for gluten free bun. Lots of regulars here too. Lots of TV screens at the bar for those who follow sports.

This was my first visit and I wasn’t disappointed. Very nice atmosphere and quality food. I ordered the fish and chips and got a couple of beers as well. Server was very nice and polite. I will definitely be returning.

Fabulous meal. Steak pie and mashed with gravy and a chicken club sandwich…..delicious. Our server was great Regan, maybe?. Will definitely return. Thank you.

I had visited squires the other day with some friends, and the food was just okay. Our server was amazing during our time there. However, we mainly came for their $4.50 pints, we had checked their website ahead of time and no where did they say that there was a time limit on the $4.50 pints. It specified that on Friday after 4:00pm they had 2-for-1 fish and chips, but when I spoke to the manager she brought out a piece of paper that said their specials. She didn’t honour the specials online, but blamed it on a girl who does their website. The manager was incredibly rude, belittling, and had little customer service etiquette. Won’t be returning because of the manager.

Never again!!! Unfortunately this was our families favourite restaurant and we’ve literally eaten there hundreds of times but this will be our last. After waiting an hour and half we still hadn’t received our food….we were very understanding because they were busy but after an hour and half we never got checked on once. The waitress brought our drinks and we literally didn’t get spoken to again the entire time. Finally threw cash on table on walked out before the food even came. We understand they were busy but utter lack of communication was unbelievable. Not even to ask for refills or “your order will be another 10 minutes”…anything we better than being ignored. Good-bye Squires, you’ve lost an extremely loyal customer.
