Spurrell Mark

Had the exact same experience as Alan Clark’s post on here. In the past Mark helped me with a situation my accountant couldn’t help me with. I live in Toronto and wanted to see if he could help again before making the long drive to Oshawa. He was very rude and didn’t give me the chance to ask him my questions. He spoke to me like I was less than him and not worthy of his time. He said he has lots of clients and doesn’t have time for me. Also when I used him last time he charged me alot more than others accountants do. Save your money and being disrespected by going some where else. Last time I checked we live in a free country. Lots to accountants around to choose from. I will never give Mark another penny of my hard earned money or let his eyes look at a single accounting number I have for as long as I live. Mark please learn to speak to others with respects and not from your holier than thou accountant hill top.

His decades of experience working with Revenue Canada has given him the knowledge and experise that we were looking for to help manage our accounting needs. He's extremely friendly and we know we'll always get quick service. Highly recommend!

I was looking for someone to help me with both business tax filings as well as some tax clean up for previous years. I spoke to many different accountants and found them quoting me prices before examing what I even had going on. I was referred to Mark and his engagement with me has been nothing but helpful and educational. I was all over the place and really did not have an understanding of what would set me up for success in both my business records as well as what I was missing out on from the personal side. He took me on, was in constant contact with me, was honest with me about timelines (on which he always under-promised and over-delivered), answered my 'silly questions', set me up better for coming years, and was able to dig out a ton of money I was owed. His fees were beyond reasonable and I feel good knowing that there is someone I can trust, who has no judgement, and is simply really great at his job on my side!

Fantastic accountant and all round great guy. A friend told me about Mark in 2010 and my husband and I took our taxes to him. Would never use anyone else but him. We have referred many people to him and will continue to do so. Although getting your taxes done is not fun Mark seems to make it feel okay.

Mark is not only one of the nicest people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting, but he is also very knowledgeable. He has saved me thousands of dollars with my taxes and is always happy to answer any questions I might have either over the phone or in person. Highly recommend him
