I went looking for Corn ....but this course "sprang" out at me !...Who would ever think a golf course would be situated way out in the farm lands....a good 20 mins away from Barrie. This par 72 course features long par 5s , challenging par 4s with a couple hidden holes as well. On the 3rd keep it to the left, there is a cross wind that can enhance your slice into out of bounds. I like how this course slowly climbs into the mountains and forest and the fairways become narrow. I definitely liked the layout, some par 3s have water in front making it more challenging. All this course needs is some tender loving care. Some of the tee boxes were dry and hard, some did not have any grass. Also enjoy nature as well as lots of ducks, blue heron and canadian geese are around. Caĺl Lilly now to get your tee time !
Reasonable prices for the quality of the course. It’s either really dry or really wet, I find. Pleasant experience every-time so far. Would recommend. 9th hole is my favourite.
Great day on the course with the 3 Chris' and the rest of the guys from the Sunday morning crew. Thanks to the owners for all of their dedication and good deeds over the years!
My playing partner and I checked with the lady at the front desk before teeing off about their rain policy. She told us that if we played 9 and it started raining, we'd get refunded the back 9. It started to rain, so after 9 we went to the front desk to get the back 9 refund, and were told that they are only going to refund us $5 each, or we could get a rain check for the back 9. This was completely opposite of what we were told before teeing off. We declined the rain check because the course was in terrible condition, and just took the $5 each. Moreover, the lady who told us that initially wouldn't even come out of the office to speak with us. If you're going to have a rain policy, don't lie directly to the golfers before teeing off about it. The course was dead, so I guess they needed the extra $. Won't be coming back here.
Nice course in fairly good condition. Greens need some work. Some tough holes that benefit from tactical play, straight shots and drives over 250 yds.
Always enjoy playing here. Don't get out enough.. One thing I would change though is they don't have their green fees listed on the website. It's the only golf course I have ever seen that doesn't list their green fees. Probably why I don't get out here much.
Nice spot. Some greens are in rough shape. Nothing a little manicure can't fix, but over all a great course for the price

They do not give rain checks for 9 holes. I went out with my husband this morning and I aggravated an injury on the 1st hole. Good course and value for money though.
Nice course, friendly staff. Always a great time!
