Amazing dive vibe and if your looking for the best wings in town, this is the place. If you need the heat try the 2x inferno. Legit heat and awesome flavor. Also great selection of hot sauces. CheersFood: 5/5
Small, but super friendly. Best wings we’ve had in town. You have to try the kimchi fries! I’m not a huge fan of kimchi, but I fought my hubby over each forkful. Will be back for the Korean night special on Fridays for sure.
Hilariously bad order. Not only did they forget our side of fries, but the $14 Cubano sandwich was NOT AT ALL as described. On their menu it says: "Smoked pulled pork, grilled ham, hot mustard, pickles, swiss cheese and pressed and grilled on a hoagie." As you can see from the photos, what I got was a sloppy, cheap mess. No ham, no cheese, not even a hoagie! It was literally pork, plain yellow mustard, pickles, on plain white bread; probably worth $2. One of the saddest sandwiches I've ever seen! So bad we could only laugh. Very disappointing, never ordering from here again.
Wings are top notch! If you are little B boy or B girl you prolly won't like this place cuz you think you are special. Respect the bartenders or get ignored.
The Sports Nut serves up a wide variety of wings I had the garlic parmesan and Sports Nut Combo this time. They also make my favorite brandy old fashioned in the La Crosse area.
20 wings, 2 busch lites & a $5 tip, came out to $43 and change....yikes If you want wings go when they have a deal, orders come in 10 pieces for $12, but if you get 2 different sauces with an order they will charge you for 2 orders of 5 wings each for $7 each instead of a $.50 charge for an "extra sauce" like the menu says- that's referring to am extra sauce on the side apparently. Back to Sloopys.
Went in for wings, joined table already there. I went to bar to grab drinks and when I returned there was someine at oyr table with a tablet. We had just arrived and I said "we're not quite ready to order yet" He wasn't there to take our order but he could have just said that. He said I was rude to interrupt and when I walked away, obviously insulted, he told me I would "get over it" We left and went to the Vogue for great food AND service.
It's Sunday first day of football season and this place was completely understaffed but worse, not honest about it. Me and and wife and infant son go in they they tell us it's a 10min wait to sit down when it's when it was written on a blackboard it's 20min to sit 45 to eat. We wait patiently to be called. While we are waiting another group is completely skipped over and had to be seated. Multiple tables we sitting not bussed adding to wait times. After waiting 20 min to get seated then another waitress comes out and now says it will be over an hour for food. This place was completely unprepared and disorganized...if I could give no stars I would have
Ordered the lion burger and it did not come with mayo, swiss or american cheese as listed on their website. On top of that, the fries were so soggy, they were inedible.
Got some wings today. 50 for $40 half bbq and half traditional buffalo wing sauce mild. They both were delicious. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for good wings.
