While travelling in Truro I had messed up my sneakers, needed a new pair! Jumped into sportchek, snagged me a new pair of runners to go on with my day! Staff was polite and assisted me as needed.
Me and my friend visited store on feb 28 around 4:40 pm.We were looking for the shoes for my buddy. The guy who was working there was very nice and polite and helped us lot to find perfect pair of shoes for my buddy. When we were checking out the girl at counter was very arrogant and made us feel that she was doing us favour by ringing in. I said hi to her as we approached counter as good gesture.she didn’t even responded to me.there was other girl that came to discount our shoes for price match she was arrogant as well she finished our order and just said this is your bill. I didn’t buy anything but this was very insulting, rude and discriminative for me and my friend.
No real shoe selection and almost looked like a closing store
By far the friendliest and most helpful Sportchek staff I've encountered, especially compared to the Halifax stores. The store is a little on the small side but I still managed to find a waterproof jacket, on sale at that! Could use a few more mirrors around, but I made do. They'll mail you your receipt to cut down on paper.
The Truro store is my go to store for everything sporty I need, from sneakers to clothing for myself and family. The staff are knowledge, friendly and always happy to help. Highly recommended, their customer service is second to none.
I’m touring North America and need new hiking shoes. They have an entire wall of hiking shoes and boots for men. Not one hiking shoe or boot for women. Apparently women don’t hike in Nova Scotia.
Not a bad store and I somtimes find what I need and often find what I want. I have gotten numerous pairs of shoes here.
Bought a new sweet URBANO bike. Staff was great, helpful, knowledgeable at the Truro location.
Not enough stock or staff. They don't often have the right sizes or enough selection. I also think they should sell snowboarding gear.
I usually pop in every few months to look for clearance items. Even then, the stuff is overpriced.
