The store is clean, there is a large parking lot, all the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The consultant, whose name I unfortunately did not ask she said that she is from Brazil helped a lot with choosing shoes. She offered all the options, carefully selected what we needed. We sincerely thank her for the quality work and careful attitude. I wish prosperity to your store.
Went to get a pair of skates sharpened for the first time. Young fellow that assisted me was very good and polite. Took 5 minutes and they where done he assisted me in finding skate guards and provided a great tip for a better fit. Came out of there happy and spent under $20.
Service has decreased is quality drastically in the last year or so. You walk in and all you see are employees chatting with each other. I’ve been in several times and always watch all the young boys work hard while the girls stand around and chat. The people running it are no better, I’ve heard some horror stories from employees past and present about management. Will not be shopping here anymore and will continue to discourage people to do so as well.
I had an issue with a pair of Atlas snowshoes and Atlas instructed me to deal with Sport Chek as this is where I’d purchased them online. I brought them to the Miramichi store and despite the manager not getting any support from Atlas over several months, he agreed to provide me a new pair. This is really an outstanding customer service gesture and you can count on me remaining a Sport Chek ambassador.
Went there to buy a pair of sneakers.nThe guy who was on the floor helped me a lot to find what I was looking for 5/5.nBut the cashier was very rude. I told her that the price was different than the scanned price but she told me that I'm wrong and that I have to pay the scanned price. She ended up calling one of other associates who told her that I was right after wasting my time and energy. Please cashier, don't take it personally. Don't say that a customer is wrong without verifying. It's rude and unacceptable. 1/5nOverall : 3/5
