Splendid China Mall is a 90000sqft Chinese-themed ethnic shopping centre located at the southeast corner of Redlea Avenue and Steeles Avenue in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located adjacent to Milliken GO Station and across from the Pacific Mall along with the Market Village. The structure was formerly occupied by Canadian Tire.Chinese language signsScarborough's local sign bylaws limit the size a business may post signs in one singular language. The signs the centre has (in Chinese characters) taken up the permitted total wall acreage, so permission had to be sought to add an English sign.

Splendid China Mall has the potential to be a rival to Pacific Mall across the street, but it already appears to be aging and declining due to the lack of foot traffic and vacant spaces, similar to older Chinese-themed shopping centres in other parts of Agincourt. There is a grand stage in the middle, but it simply plays CP24 when no performance is happening.
This mall still feels new even though it's been around for over a decade. But unfortunately it has turned into a ghost town. Many vacant shops, and shops that are closed even on weekends. There's a pharmacy, herbal shops, salons, convenience shop, and Thai restaurant, to name a few. Essentially you can find similar stores in the much larger Pacific Mall next door.
A dead like state of a mall. More than half of the stores are closed and closed for good. There are 2 floors of pure silence, and barely any people inside of the mall. Inside of the mall looks like how Pacific mall was designed, but Splendid China mall didn't gain the popularity that Pacific mall had. The lighting in some places of the mall is kind of dim. There is a map of the mall at the entrance of the mall.nnThe food court is small with like... What seems to be 3 kind of working/open restaurants?nnThe only restaurant that is doing well is the Thai restaurant.
Absolutely excellent food.nBest Pad Thai in Toronto.nExcellent service.nThe menus can use a little clean as they are handled often.
the food court was so quiet. and not much variety, still a lot of empty storesnBut if you know a particular store you want to go and it's good because it's easier to find parking. There's a big open space Auditorium with a big screen TV. Sometimes they do events there. hopefully they attract more stores to come and open the business, it would be a good attraction place
