We had a fantastic walk on the spirit trail. There are a few options to take when I’m here a couple of different loops. The Spirit Trail is an easy walk and is about a .6 mile / 1 kms loop. We only saw 2 others on this trail and they warned us about to cub bears they saw on another loop. We did not see any other animals but lots of beautiful mask carvings nailed to the trees! This walk would be good for all ages!
This is a short walk but very scenic walk. If you have children or grand children it's perfect. We went when there was snow on the ground and it was a joy. The grand kids had been there before and were eager to teach us old folks everything and show us where all the masks were. A great time indeed.
Best place to walk the dog in the area. You really feel as if the forrest is alive. The air is refreshing and the scenery is truly amazing. You can see the smile on my dogs face !
Cool and gentle trail with the masks on the trees throughout.
We tried this little short trail one wet Saturday morning. Loved being blanketed by trees. The masks are a nice distraction.
Wonderful nice walk with kids. Beautiful painting on the tree. So much fun for kids and easy and nice trail to walk along. Of course face painting helped kids to find more.
Beautiful train with masks made by a local artist. Short trail but has lots to see!
Great trail for beginners and its pretty fun, if you're going with a friend you can see who can spot the most masks by the end of the trail or you could just enjoy the walk. They is nice benches you can stop at to eat and there is an outhouse.
Great trail with lots of roots to watch out for while trying to spot the spirit masks in the trees. Can be muddy in the spring and winter so wear appropriate footwear.
Perfect little loop to kill a bit of time with the kid before heading to Taco Rio. Never pick your your trail based on margaritas, it may not always turn out this perfect.
