I love Halloween!! Decided to swing by to check out the seasons selection. I didn’t end up buying anything specific to my Halloween costume as I’ve yet to decide who/what I will be for Halloween. Staff were very friendly, animatronic set up was stellar, my only complaint would be variety of sizes. Would love to see some more plus size options though, I know this is not location specific, so I will not knock off any points
Very expensive. This mask picture was $30 before tax so i ended up getting a cheaper one. and if you go inside with a bag, you have to check it in because you are not allowed a big bag inside due to shoplifting. Then you have to get your receipt, and when you want to leave, they take your receipt and make sure that you have every item that is in ur bag to make sure you are not stealing. its crazy how it came to this point.
Very disappointed; will not be returning as a customer.nWe purchase our Halloween costumes from Spirit every year; so this year was no different aside from going to the store earlier September 5th. We decided on DC characters for our family costumes this year - Joker, Harley Quinn, Batman and Robin. Unfortunately we couldn't find a toddler sized Robin costume but a sales associate said that they should be unpacking one in the coming weeks. We decided to purchase the other characters and then return at a later date for the Robin costume. We couldn't find a toddler Robin costume at any store so we decided to return all the costumes and proceed with a different family costume this year. To our surprise we were met with extreme resistance when facilitating the return. We were only able to return 2 of the 3 costumes since pieces were missing from one of the costumes. Then we were accused of opening and removing said pieces. We explained that just 9 days ago we came into the store, bought the costumes, and all of the costumes have been sitting in the bag, untouched since purchasing them. The sales associate then said that all 3 of our costumes were opened and not in the same condition received from the manufacturer. This was very alarming since we took the costumes off the rack, purchased them and they have been in a bag ever since.nWe will not be returning customers, however, for those that wish to continue shopping at Spirit- CHECK THAT ALL ITEMS ARE IN YOUR COSTUME BAG AND THAT ALL ITEMS ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION.nIt's very concerning to me that I paid full price for new costumes and did not receive what I paid for. Furthermore, I was not within my right to return well before the refund date since I purchased an opened, tampered with product.
Purchaed 4 costumes here, 3 blow up ones and one normal large size doll costume was supposed to be 12-14 years old. The size looks to be incorrect and not even my 7 year old could fit it. We wanted to try it on but they don’t have a change room.. but everything was final sale.nnWhen we went home, we tried it on and didn’t fit. I brought it back immediately then next morning to exchange and they wouldn’t even allow it. I told them they mislabeled the size of their costumes but no rational explanation could work. Money first mentality and I hate it. Not everyone is trying to scam you.nnSadly, this will be the last $300 I spend on Halloween costumes here.
