Spindrift sits on a really beautiful piece of land just a few minutes' drive from town. The cabins are comfortable and well kept with nice personal touches such as home made muffins and treats for the dog upon arrival. The views from every point of the property are stunning! We saw so much wildlife here too including seals, herons, deer, and rabbits. Will definitely return here on my next visit to the island!
A LITTLE PIECE OF MAGICAL PARADISE Tranquility, natural, peaceful..beautiful piece of property on the Peninsula. Stayed in Charlotte, mother daughter trip with our two small dogs. Greeted throughout the day by the resident Deer, falling asleep to the sound of the Ocean. Amazing enclosed deck that over looked the water..our dogs loved it. Cute, comfortable and clean and private cottage. The Manager Sharon was super friendly, helpful & kind..treats for the dogs & muffins upon our arrival. We absolutely loved it & will definitely return. Great location, short drive from the Ferry and into Ganges. It was perfect and just what we needed for 5 glorious nights. Any review that is less than perfect review of 3 days ago, e.g., shabby and rundown is completely uncalled for...we are grateful the situation was dealt with by Management. Vancouver BC
We celebrated our 51st anniversary here. The Rose cottage was excellent! We enjoyed touring the island and cozy’s evenings with a nice fire in the wood stove. I liked that even though the place is rustic, they do have cable TV and WiFi. Don’t miss the little hiking trail out to the tip of the point.
Spindrift cottages is the perfect place to relax, spend quiet time in nature with its abundance of natural beauty. A very special, peaceful place in which to just be with local deer,rabbits ,otters , birds Majestic beaches to watch sunsets, sunrises .Enjoy the scenery from your private deck, Owner, Sharon and staff are super friendly. Cabins are clean, cosy everything you need for a comfortable stay . Will definitely return to this wonderful place .
Celebrated our 28th anniversary at Spindrift. It was everything we expected and more. Awesome rustic cabin overlooking the ocean, wood burning stove, no tv, no distractions, just a very romantic weekend. Beautiful natural grounds with amazing views from every angle. This place is a 5 star in a different way, don't expect The Ritz, but if you're looking for peace, quiet and tranquility, this is the place to visit.
We spent a really wonderful and peaceful week here. These are old-style cottages, on a narrow and small peninsula overlooking two bays. Even though they're old style, btw, they're maintained well and they've been recently renovated, I believe. The place is wonderfully quiet, but only a few miles from the city lights of Ganges.
Peaceful oceanfront cabins on a rare private point, the perfect getaway on Canada's west coast. The pocket beach is great for swimming on a hot summer day. We'll be back again soon as possible
I have visited off and on for many years and have mostly stayed at Spindrift. Beautiful spot, total privacy! The cabin was lovely and right on the ocean. Best place on Salt Spring. L. Dalsin & A. Chandler

Worst reception I ve ever experienced. Owner was Very rude upon our arrival. Definitely NOT pet friendly ! Left immediately. Will Never return.
