This place does not deserve one star. I asked for 24 baby girl cookies for a baby shower 4 days after the day I called. I settled for SIMPLE designs on round cookies because what I wanted would have taken a couple weeks- fair enough. I still expected cute and neat printed cookies to be able to bring. Also, to decide these designs took SO much longer than I wanted because the managers could not describe what could be done in this "short notice", they just responded "it depends". When I got these cookies that I paid $53.00 for, I was appalled at the lack of care and effort put into these designs. Not to mention the spelling error made on 4 of them that I was told could be fixed by scrapping off the "s". Rediculous. When this was brought up to the OWNER, she said they are well done for the time they had to do them and I should have expected them to turn out this way. She refused to give me a refund and said she would never make cookies for me in the future because of my expectations. Store credit was the only thing given which she ripped my off $5, only putting $48 on a gift card. Since I refused to bring these cookies to the shower, my lovely aunt who works at GRANDMAS OVEN IN AYLMER, made me 30 cookies in 2 hours the night before, from her own home, with her own 2 hands. Pictures are below to show the comparison. So unbelievably disrespectful and not worth your time or money.
Has been my go to place for donuts since I was a kid. Everything else lacks in authenticity compared to this place. Wish they had the tuxedo pastries puff pastry with pudding in the middle and white and brown/black icing on top in more often.
I always stop by when I'm town, they have a variety of donuts and pies and are consistently fresh and tasty. I recommend the apple crumble pie.
Old bakery items on shelf. Recipes changed over time since original owners and not for the better. Very little donuts ever available.

Best donuts and cakes around. Only complaint is that the prices are getting a bit high but that seems to be the case at many places these days.
Loved the butter pecan tarts I'm a big fan and try them whenever I find them throughout my travels in Ontario. They are not super sweet which is great as you can savour the flavours of all the ingredients. They were so good, my husband even had one and loved it he is never a fan of sweet desserts - now a fan. We also tried the blueberry pie - another tasty treat that is worth buying at Spicer's Bakery.

The custom buttercream cake was amazing!
Extremely disappointed! Placed an online order 5 days ago, showed up today at the pre-arranged time and was told they only had two of the five items ordered. I didn't receive an email or phone call to let me know. I had to ask to be refunded for the items not received as it was not offered then I got to my car to realize I had only received one item. I went back to the store and the server could not find my item so I received a pre-packaged container off the shelf. I will not be returning!
