The ambience and the service of the place was very good. I really liked the starters we ordered. It was fish and paneer pakora. But the main course disappointed us. First of all the quantity of paneer lababdar was less just enough for two with one naan each. Secondly, We were expecting and made special request to get our food Indian spicy but it was very bland probably made for English people. It was totally not worth it especially looking at the cost of the food.

It’s rare that a place deceivers consistent deliciousness over so many years. I have ordered take out here for 7 years now and it’s always the best Indian food in the area including better than KW and Cambridge Indian restaurants. Big thick juicy pieces of meat. Flavour is amazing, heat on point. This is my spot

Disappointed!! I ordered first time from this place and my experience was really bad. From when does Chicken tikka masala look like this? The taste was totally bland no flavours. Also ordered malai kofta. Both gravy’s were same, totally waste of money Won’t be ordering from this place again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Spice Roots Indian Cuisine and I can honestly say that it was an amazing experience! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I was especially impressed with the level of attention and care that the staff provided. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend, to anyone looking for a great meal! Usually got take out. Dine in is so much nicer. Naan is not wrapped in foil and crispy. Lovely silver containers. Best is that food is not so heavy that you feel it the next day like with some other Indian placesFood: 5/5

One of the best Indian restaurants in Guelph! I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious Indian cuisine! It is a great place that everyone should visit! The chicken biriyani is excellent, and the smell itself is mouthwatering. We had excellent customer service from Ciara.

BEST Indian food in the GTA! Fantastic, friendly, and very attentive staff. They're extremely knowledgable about the menu, and have a great selection of vegan/vegetarian options. My favourite dishes are the Veggie Manchurian, Pubjabi Subzi, and of course, the garlic naan! Thank you Spice Roots.

A bit expensive and average tasting Indian food. First time that I get charged for sides of rice and naans that doesn’t come with main dishes. We will try another Indian restaurant next time, there’s lots of them in G .

Another hidden gem in Guelph! Very tasty authentic Indian food. Our server was also very efficient and friendly. She was very informative about the dishes and gave great suggestions which was helpful because there are many options in the menu. I do suggest to put a bit more heat in the vindaloo ;
