So good! My fiance and I are very picky about Indian food, and this place earned its place in my top 3. We had the chicken vindaloo and butter chicken. Service was also very good, very friendly. Definitely coming back!!
Don't let the takeout menu they present you fool you. The food here is good and of good quality. And the large portions leave no room in the tummy for doubt. The butter chicken is tasty but is sweeter they I've tasted elsewhere. I tried an Okra dish and was very impressed. Curry chicken was very nice. Their spicy levels are lowered for those not accustomed to spicy foods. A med plus is just a mild plus. Medium compares to a typical mild.
Big portions. Authentic Indian Cuisine. If you are thinking of going medium for the spiciness level go for the "spicy" it's well worth it. Our group had a big appetite after riding at Panorama bike park and spice hut was able to satisfy our cravings. Order extra nan bread or rice if you order the butter chicken. As I mentioned earlier they have big portions. Excellent service as well.
The food was fantastic. I would totally recommend Biryani chicken and beef vindaloo. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Totally coming back.Food: 5/5
Really good traditional Indian cuisine, I ordered spicy level 5 curry chicken, very tasty and spicy. I like it. Don't try if you aren't spicy food master. Parking: Front door street parking
Ordered Chicken biryani and chicken karahi. Both had the same flavorless boiled chicken cubes. The biryani rice n chicken karahi curry were great. I just wish the chef had fried the chicken just a bit to retain some of its flavor.
Big portions, had spicy level 5 the highest for my butter chicken and it was delicious. All was hot, fresh, & filling. Vegetable Samosa were so good great experience
Came with 2 friends and I got the coconut chicken with garlic naan and asked for a small rice. Well the naan came out and it was bigger than my face then my coconut chicken came, it was delicious and fragrant, large pieces of chicken, and the small rice was a whole bowl! I also got a mango lassi, which was great. Such large portion sizes and tasty too, makes it great value for money. I would visit again! Friendly helpful staff also.
Food was awesome! Service was a bit slow but l would say because they where very busy. Probably because the food is that good and it is a long weekend. Definitely suggest giving it a try. Medium spice is how we ordered all the dishes and it seamed just right for our group.Food: 5/5
The food here tastes different than all the other spice hut restaurants I've been to and Western canada. My girlfriend hated the chicken, said it was way too dry and that the butter sauce tasted very different than what we were used to at other spice hut restaurants. Customer service was great though, the waitress was very attentive.Food: 2/5
