Hidden gem! This is hands down the best butter chicken I have ever had in Canada! Very flavourful and perfectly cooked. I ordered through UberEats and it arrived faster than I expected. The food was hot, and packaged so well I could potentially reuse the paper bag. I ordered the butter chicken, samosas, 2 types of naan butter and garlic, kerla porous, jeera rice, and gulab jamun. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. My expectations were very much exceeded. There was enough food for my daughter and I plus a lunch for me for tomorrow! We will definitely return to this spot! Probably dine in next time though! Notes for improvement: I would love to have received a paper menu in the bag but that’s minor. I also would suggest in the description of the butter chicken and similar items as well letting the customer know that rice isn’t included. I almost forgot to add the rice and only noticed at the end before ordering. Thank you so much Spice Hub!
Craving for Indian food When it comes to Indian food, the Thompson’s never shies away. We were all excited as this is our first visit at this “Spice Hub Restaurant”. Thanks to my coworker recommending her husband restaurant. We could taste some of the most innovative, exciting, and savory vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian dishes. Thanks to the authentic Indian herbs and spices to tantalize our taste buds like no other. Spice hub is a cozy restaurant with very good quality dishes. According to my husband, masala dosa's were phenomenal and my lamb curry was delicious and Kerala parotta was amazing. My kids enjoyed their meal as well. We all had a full happy tummy.
The short: 10/10, highly recommend, this is worth the drive and will be your new go-to. Wow, what a surprise - we came here for a dinner and left blown away by how delicious the meal was. We've been looking for our go to Indian restaurant since moving from Ontario last year, and this more than impressed. My wife and I split a selection of dishes including the dal curry, paneer tikka masala and tandoor chicken - all were delicious and flavor packed. A group nearby was devouring some massive dosa - something we will return soon to try ourselves.
If you are in Halifax/Dartmouth this is the Indian restaurant you want to try! Spice hub is a cozy restaurant with very good quality dishes. Their dosa's were phenomenal and were served on a long cricket bat type wooden plate and Kerala parotta was amazing. I particularly like Chicken 65 as well along with other curries. Owner is a great guy and very helpful. Overall one of the best Indian restaurants in this area. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options available, Dal Curry, paneer dosa etc.
Can’t miss their Kerala Parotta! We had paneer butter masala and spice hub special chicken curry. Both super yum! Portions were great. We also ordered Masala Dosa which was good but was not the fan of sambhar, tasted average. The girl on the counter is welcoming.

Ok, finally I found a place where my heart belongs! We went here yesterday to have an early supper and had a really good time. We ordered a ghee roast, chicken biriyani to dine in, and Kerala porotta and beef curry to go with. Wow!! The flavours were amazing. Our favourites were chicken biriyani, porotta and beef curry. The staff were super friendly and took well care of us! This place just became my favourite Indian restaurant in Nova Scotia. Love to visit again! Keep up the great effort!!
Second time trying .. first time I had to call and complain about the lack of chicken in my butter chicken order .. this Time i ordered chicken tikka masala and a butter chicken second time around no different. Flavor was amazing now don't feel like I got my money's worth tho
Loved coming for dinner here tonight! The service was amazing and the food was lovely! We had a butter chicken, paneer butter masala with rice and naan and loved it. I’m a complete wimp with spice and when I asked for something to help they got me some lovely coconut chutney which helped immensely. It was all lovely and we will definitely be back!
Great food and service. Worth every penny. Masala Dosa is the best I ever had and have tried many places in Nova Scotia and Toronto. Chicken 65 is sooooo good. price is not that high as reviewed on some reviews. it is in par or below some of the other Indian Restaurants in HRM. very well recommended
