Wil never recommend Stopped to grab dinner on our way home. We got many dishes as we were a big group. I felt very regretful after trying out a few of them , average taste and very bad customer service. There were only 2 people and they didn't seem bothered about feedback,even after saying about the dish they didn't replace or say anything stood blank and gave us a bill to pay. As my friends were hungry we had some food and left the remaining and we left home.
We were passing through Hope around lunchtime on our road trip. So glad we found this place! The food was delicious. Portions very generous. Service friendly and pleasant. The Greek salad was great. The tandoori chicken was awesome - huge portion. Great value.
Overall this place has amazing food if you enjoy indian cuisine. Gone multiple times, butter chicken is awesome, tandori chicken is great, lamb vindaloo is also good. However I must say the service is very very bad, waited 45 minutes to pay our bill, got our drinks by the time we had eaten have our meal, had to ask multiple times for water. Food top notch, service subpar.
I would definitely recommend Hope's Spice and Grill, we ordered the lunch special Lamb Curry and Butter Chicken each at $13.99 and Taj Mahal beer $8, not bad pricing I think. Go check it out.

We recently dined at this restaurant, the food gave the authentic Indian roadside diners experience, specially the dal makhani and tandoori roti. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an authentic taste of India in Hope. The chefs clearly know what they're doing, and their dedication to quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques really shines through in every dish.
Hot as a Sauna and Spotty Service Tried this spot later on a Wednesday, only two other couples in the restaurant so we initially thought service would be easy. Felt like AC was totally off and it was like a sauna inside the premises. Saw a guy sitting low down on a chair behind the bar, did not look up when the door chime sounded and we waited upwards of 5 mins. I opened the door again and this time the crop of hair moved and we were finally greeted and seated. Food was generally good however, although one dish was forgotten and then delivered near the end when we were almost done. Staff seemed oblivious to the heat, even when I asked about it. Not sure about returning but hopefully its not 30C next time - wow!!
The food is amazing! Highly recommend the fish pakora, great appetizer. So much flavour in all the dishes. You need to try this! I'm glad I did. Way better than most of the Indian restaurants in Surrey/Delta area.
I went in for a quick bite and was amazed how good the foods was Parking: Lots! Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor Dietary restrictions: I asked for low carb options and staff was very accommodating.
I must admit, I wasn't expecting it to be such great food, but it was amazing. Very flavorful Indian food. I had the Veggie Korma and garlic naan...I ate every bite! My friends had a butter chicken pizza and butter chicken with rice. Both loved theirs too! Highly recommended!
