Had a very nice experience at Budget Brake and Muffler. I needed brakes and Aaron took very good care of me. He explained that my front brakes needed new rotors and pads and the back brakes were still in good condition. I appreciated his honesty and the work was done quickly! Confirmed an appointment for alignment, brakes, and oil change at 10:30. Mechanic called expecting me at 9:00am. Showed up at 10:30. Alignment machine wasn’t ready for use. Shop didn’t have tools to remove standard acorn lug nuts. Decided just to go for the $49.99 oil change promotion online mechanic “had never heard of before”. Of course, $49.99 +filter +disposal fee. Came to about $80. But I said I want synthetic oil, so the price went up to $150. $70 ON TOP of the original $80 for 5 litres of synthetic…. Crooks. Decided to take my car to a mechanic that had the $10 acorn lug nut removal tool handy. Thanks for wasting my Saturday Services: General repairs & maintenance

I am saddened that Kari wrote such a negative review, but in my defense, the first time Kari came into my shop, she spent the $500 on patching the exhaust system, oil change and filter unrelated, related, where the spark plugs and an engine scan of which Kari paid $255.85,we did mention to her at this point with 116,000 kilometers there could be other problems which might arise. Her 2003 Volkswagen Golf worked great till she had another problem a few weeks later. With respect to Kari's other issue there was no charge for the diagnostic scan and even implied this on her estimate. I called the Volkswagen dealer as for my own reference and found they were not cheaper by the amount that she told us, providing she had the same work done. I wish no ill fate on anyone and their vehicles.

I’ve had my car in this shop more times than I’d like within the past year my fault The service they provide is exceptional. Aaron is a wonderful person to deal with and the mechanics do a fantastic job. They’re transparent and honest about everything. They let you know exactly what the game plan is from start to finish. There’s no shady prices added on when you pick your vehicle up. Some of the negative reviews are kind of hard to believe. Basing that on my experience. I highly recommend this shop.

I’ve been to this location a few times, the staff there are very knowledgeable and open to explain things further every time I had a question. The prices are just and Aaron has been the person who served me every time I’ve been there and I have enjoyed every encounter I had with him! Recommend you guys to pay a visit if you need a reliable mechanic, probably best to call ahead and book an appointment for quick fixes as I do.

I have been going to this location for many years. Three different managers, Clarence, Scott and now Aaron. Also three different vehicles and I honestly believe they have all given me an honest analysis and recommendations re what repairs are needed and what can wait and what needs attention immediately.
