Spanky's Plainwell Ice Cream - I was handed this cone 2 min prior to walking out the door. The employee behind the counter did not greet us nor smile in any way. I walked 3 steps outside and my ice cream was melting all over my hand. Not a good experience. My boyfriends ice cream didnt taste good and it melted everywhere as well.
Lived in BC for over 10 years and never stopped here till today. We brought the whole family - 7 of us. It’s super clean with 4 perfectly maintained pool tables. The wait staff was super quick and friendly. A very welcoming atmosphere. The menu is pretty broad to satisfy the whole family. I had a 10 oz steak with sides for $13.99. Really great value. Everything was very good. Full bar and good on tap selection. Huge parking lot. Seems like one of Battle Creek’s hidden gems. And they have a huge selection of ice cream.
Food was delicious but need more help with staff but very polite.
We were there for food. It was a typical experience for a bar in an afternoon. Two of us had the smelt basket and one had the shrimp. We shared a mushroom appetizer. The mushrooms were good. The smelt was actually tough. I didnt hear how the shrimp was. The fries were better than the smelt. Service was good
Clean. The lighting is great. The juke box is full of great music old and new. I had the bacon burger and loved it. It was my first visit and I was pleased when I left. The staff was friendly and prompt. Try them out.
A great place for ice cream. Wonderful flavors and good quality ice cream! They change their flavors often, so it's not the same flavors every time. which we like Their prices are also very reasonable.
Local dive bar. Nothing spectacular. Good prices. Probably get their food from Gordon's, but... The wait staff is friendly and attentive most of the time. Especially the older veteran ladies are very sweet. Decor is plain borderline tacky. Not a place I'd host anything special at. UFC fight night is a good time. As an added bonus, they have full ice cream service.
A great place to eat. They make awsome pizza and it is half off on Mondays. Need to try it! They have so much things going there every day, like comedians and band's playing outdoors. Great place!
My first time in since new owner took over. I was introduced to him, not impressed. Actually was quite rude to us. I will not spend another penny in his establishment. I will definitely spread the word of how I was treated. NOT GOOD BUSINESS!!! Bartender Alyssha was amazing!
First time here. I got the chilli cheese hotdog basket. I got a second one cause usually they are small at other places. So I opened up my take out and holy moly they are huge! These were the best hotdogs I have ever had and even beats the Rootbeer stand. Great prices and the people there are super nice. Gave me a water while I wait. We also got some plainwell ice cream and just amazing that we dont have to drive all the way to Plainwell to get it. Awesome place and will definitely come again!!
